Chasing nightmares

Stuck in a classroom,
surrounded by four walls.
Where I learn of nightmares
and down cliffs continually fall.

Stuck in a nightmare
kept in one place.
Never can I leave
to see Mother's sweet face.

Stuck in a classroom,
never can I wake,
my body keeps trying to move,
But it's all I can take.

Stuck within my mind,
these nightmares never cease.
Where has my sanity gone-
No night leaves me peace.

I assume this poem is about school? If i'm right I didn't quite understand this part;

Never can I leaveto see Mother's sweet face.

It confused me a little and the point could have been explained better but neverless it was really good and the emotions potrayed in it were strong making this poem even better. And it was short and sweet :D

I really like it! It made me feel like I'm a classroom, and the repetition of the term "stuck in..." gives me idea of a massive thing, also the feeling that it is never going to end. Congratulations, it is awesome.

First of all I would like to say that your poem was short, sweet, and enjoyable. I would suggest that you try using stronger words to grasp the readers attention. I like the pattern you've created

Stuck in a classroom

Stuck in a nightmare

but you ended the poem differently and that's what I liked about it the most.

This is brilliant :) Reminds me of my time at school.
