Don’t write a letter that you like me
Don’t say a word that you miss me
Making those mushy words won’t change anything.
You love her isn’t it?
More than anyone else
More than anything
This love is new to you
But for me, this is twice
You don’t need to smile
And lie about the truth
Say the truth...
Never lie...
Love her...
Forget me...
It is better to be like this
Letting me go can give me freedom
Not loving you is my freedom
Go away
And can I not be your friend?

is this poem about a recent breakup ?
im sorry if it is
i like the poem.. its very expressive, would you mind reading mine ?? my username is; mestherw, im new to this website, and i was wondering if mine is any good ?? its under the subject of "abusive story" and its called "your 'love' for me"
thank you (:
This was very hard to read. Not for the reasons you may assume, just because I was trying to find a purpose or meaning in it.
I really liked the last two lines. They are contrasting, yet totally beautiful. They sum up the poem in a weird way. At first, I tried to convince myself not to like them because they are so plain and opposite. But, then I realized when dealing with a loved one in those circumstances, things may not seem normal or realistic. So I like it.
All I want you to keep in mind is that this topic, and some of these lines, have all been used before. Once you read more poetry, you can understand what people love to use, find your own style, and be different.
Until then,
Keep writing,
Classy
Hello there

I like this poem/piece. I find with most of the dramatic poetry the authors force the emotion in the poems/pieces and this i really liked because of its simplicity. I reckon that a piece should be straight forward and say what it needs to say, and this does that for me. what i wanted to know however was whether this poem/piece was written about a bestfriend (a guy) leaving another bestfriend ( a girl) for his girlfriend, or whether its an ex girlfriend speaking to an ex lover perhaps? or?
None the less I really like this piece.
On my way to read some of your other work...
Peace
