It’s your first glimpse at the person who makes your heart skip a beat
Your first kiss with the soul who sweeps you off your feet
And it’s your stomach, the way it feels, before you say those three simple, extraordinary words
That leave you staring blankly, hoping for a response afterwards
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's your wedding kiss on your special day
The beautiful, perfectly arranged flowers lying in your bouquet
And it's your child being born, saying his first words,
Taking his first steps and eating dirty worms
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It is the day you think of your one and only,
sitting there staring blankly and lonely
Remembering them by these unforgettable memories
as you watch their bedside crumble to a slow melody.

You need commas at the end of these lines to help with the reading flow. Those are really cool lines, but they need a bit of a pause between them, which you can do with commas.
"That leave you staring blankly, hoping for a response afterwards", you need a period here.
Note on the ~~~ break lines: those are unnecessary. If you're having trouble with formatting, try typing this up in a Word document in the format you want, then upload that file and replace this existing one. It should fix the problems without having to delve into the code.

Wow. That was a pretty dramatic ending that took me completely by surprise. It's all happy, happy, SAD....but real. Oh so real. It reminded me of the first five minutes or so of Disney's Up. And I mean that in a good way. That was a really good, but really sad, beginning, and your poem captured that same sort of mentality. Good job, and keep going!
Hope this helps! Happy Review Day!
