Hey there, mmatons!

Here's a late welcome to YWS.
I'm not quite sure what's going on here, but it seems as if Carlito's theory below might be true. Like she said, posting works do cost 200 points, and if you only wanted help with something, or had a few questions, you could post those in the Resources page for free!
If you have any questions, do let us know (especially those with green or red usernames), and other than that, I hope you have fun on this site!
Ta-ta for now.

Hey there mmatoms! Welcome to the site!

What is this story even about? Good question. Big mood when writing a first draft
This feels like a prompt for a homework assignment or something or like you're drafting something and then didn't get a chance to finish. No worries! It can be hard to figure where to post things and what to do when you're new to a site.
So the publishing center (where this piece is) is for work that you would like feedback on so you can hopefully edit and then improve as a writer. If that's not what you're after there are lots of other resources around the site!
If this is a homework assignment and you're stuck and need help, we have Homework help. If you're planning a piece and want feedback as you go, we have the Writers corner. If you're planning a piece and you're stuck and need some advise, we have Writing tips.
Posting things in the publishing center costs hard earned points and posting in the forums does not!
Let me know if you have any questions or if there's anything else I can do to help you get used to the site! Hope you stick around
Hi there, mmatoms. From the description you attached to this is looks like you're looking for advice before you write the article. These forums may be able to help you: Writing Tips and Research. The publishing centre is where you post the final work, where you can then get feedback on what you have written. Please do post the finished product when you've written the piece!
