Dreams

In Fantasie Impromptu (Well, not so much)

Just a little something I was inspired to share after a dream I had last night. Hope you enjoy it. It's my first time writing poetry so please give me advice on how to improve.

You came to me - tears flowing each
As precious as rubies and gold.
Your tears pain me; cry not, my love.
Little one, beautiful girl; I shall hide you.

I shall hold you in my palms my dear
to feel thy soft hair flow
In wind of autumn, of flower and leaf,
or spring breeze clear and clean.
In my arms shall you feel safe within
You'll never be alone again.

I shall crown you with flowers everlasting;
Eden's Roses shall you wear.
For songbirds sing your praise evermore
E'en crows do bow to thee.

Though sun sink down
And sky turn dark
I will always love you.

D'awww... this is so adorable.

I mean, hi mattimias. Your poem is so amazing. I love the subject, and the character's personality. It's weird that you used old English to write this piece, but I guess that somehow makes it special. I have no negative critique to improve this.

Great Job!

Hey I really like the metaphors you put in the lyrics
