In Fantasie Impromptu (Well, not so much)

PreviousNext
From the YWS facebook post on ink colours yesterday. Elaborated it. It is mine. References made to a few books and plays. Rather confusing. I suck at this.

Mine is the Black of Night;
In starvoid shrouds all sight-
The shadow that hid the stars,
Sung Bauglir dirge to marr.

Most fears do quiver within,
Mine 'most none have seen.
In phobia of dream lay Gold!
Dust that tore, that ripped the rags
Of phantasm cloak and midnight hags.

O Melancholy! Damn Poe!
Anguish the ore that dwarf mined deep;
Misery the hammer and anvil to forge,
Mine own extract to craft my Ring.

O Hellish wrath! Curse King!
Ravens cry in symphonies black,
Jesters laugh; end elegies dark,
Mine orchestra to conduct alone.

O Thane and King! Weep Blake!
Innocence held in paws velveted-
Truth of truths in flowing mane
My roar of lions to cast out all tears.

For my lot is found and lost again;
 Mine ink Oblivion portray.

This was an interesting poem of words i did not understand and probably won't. I did not like the poem, but keep trying. And make sure to use words that people understand.

I intended to hide quite a few references to many... Items, therefore only one who understood all these will understand this poem. I understand your opinion, but I am afraid I can only use simpler words if I choose. For this poem, I'd prefer to confuse and befuddle others. The references are from Lord of the Rings, His Dark Materials, Macbeth, the Chronicles of Narnia and Amazing Grace.

Hi everyone who clicks on my profile!...Um, not quite sure what else to do here. Yup, definitely new at this! XD
