*This is one of my first poems in awhile! Tear it apart
Addiction
Judgment burns in your eyes,
You see bottles, you see lies.
Disapproval seeps through your skin,
Yet a thrill of drama churns within.
You may tell yourself you love,
And that is what you act out of.
You may say you have respect,
But concealed inside there is neglect.
They have failed and you succeed,
They aren't humane because they bleed.
And in turn you're drowned in pride,
I can see it in your stride.
I hope one day to see you learn,
Of how to love us in return.
Heal your buried neglect and affliction,
So you could mend your own addiction.

oh my gosh! you are an amazing poet! i know i could not have done as well as you!
keep posting please!!!!!
I love this.
I think you're an amazingly talented poet,
It's just sometimes I think its hard for me to differentiate the narrator, so it's a bit confusing but it adds mystery to the poem, just try to make it more clear i guess.
Oh and
I don't think those two sentences fit together, maybe if you said I hope one day I'll see you learn,
Of how to love us in return.
Hope I helped!
