The boy

He's the boy that makes me smile
when everythings gone wrong.
He's the boy that turns the world around
to make the sun be mine.
He's the boy that called at 9pm
to sing to me all night.
He's the boy that always said the things
that sent shivers down my spine.
He's the boy that tried to hold me close
every time I cried.
He's the boy that meant the world to me
but I never let him know.
He's the boy that made my heart sing
but now I've let him go.

I think this has a lot of potential to it. This is how I feel about my boyfriend. Why did you let him go? Was it meant to be short and sweet? What was the deepest secret that makes us care? Is he the one?

I loved that. It was beautiful, and well put together. =) Well done.

Awwww {<3}
I want to tell you that I'm a very dramatic person and this almost made me cry! Haha!
I was NOT expecting that ending :(
But that's what I like!
This isn't one of those sterotipical love story things, it's dramtic and heart felt. It reaches out to people who have lost someone speical, in a way where it's hard to see them every day walking without you. Living with out you. It's pretty dang sad...
I can feel your emotions as you wrote this poem, and I love the title and format.
He's the boy... He's THAT boy :) that you love.
And no matter what happens, you always will even when they drift so far away from you...

You captured your feelings using very simply, which I know is not an easy feat when you really like a boy! I really liked the ending- it was unexpected, and it was neither too abrupt nor too in depth- you didn't dwell on it, which added to the effect!
Never stop writing!
