my heart

"My Heart"
Oh my heart. Why must you hurt so.
Love songs and break up songs
make me sad, not because I miss you,
but because I dont have you. I never did.
Why must I feel this way?! Will we ever love?
Will you ever hold me the way i should be held?
Oh my heart. Im so sorry I make you ache this way.
My heart loves the way you smile, sing, laugh and
dance. My heart longs for you...but do you know it?
My heart will watch you from afar, it will give you
a smile and a shy wave. My heart will love seeing
you smile bsck, but my heart still hurts.

Good poem, but I have a question.

When you say "Oh my heart. Im so sorry I make you ache this way.
My heart loves the way you smile, sing, laugh and
dance." In the first part, the "Oh my heart." part, are you talking about the crush or the actual heart. I'm slightly confused.

mary, first of all you've missed some apostrophes.

This poem is a bit cliched and the "heart" and "hurt" word combination doesn't really sound too good.

The theme is nice and mature an dthe concluding two lines have been composed wonderfully.

And you've missplet "back" in the last line.

You, who have all the passion for life that I have not? You, who can love and hate with a violence impossible to me? Why you are as elemental as fire and wind and wild things...
