Your comment was posted, but it wasn’t long enough to count as a review. Reviews need about four complete sentences (at least 250 characters). Try writing another review that explains your thoughts in more detail — the author will appreciate it, and you’ll earn points for it.
** I have moved this to the Romantic Fiction Forum, and all the following chapters will be in that forum. Thank you to all of you that have reviewed my work - I can't tell you how much I appreciate it!!

thank you so much for this review, it will come in extra handy, so thank you
And don't worry that you took so long - I do it a lot myself =P and to answer your question, she just leaves the body there. As the chapters go on you'll understand why
Thank you again for your review

Sorry this has taken so long! >.<; I give you permission to beat me with a rubber chicken.
This is quite a nice start. I had an idea when I read it, but it's just a suggestion:
'Frost covered the grass; a silver sheen under the dimly lit streetlights.'
I think this is kinda awkward. Try rephrasing, possibly as "to see a man with a friendly smile gazing down at me." Or something of the like, not the best example, but you could come up with better.
"placed myself" doesn't seem right, if you ask me. "Switched to"? "slid into"? "phased into"?
This doesn't quite work. Perhaps if you put "gazed" before "round" or replaced it with "...away from him and studied the pub around us."
I get what effect you're going for here, but I think you should let the second to last sentence be a little longer, a contrast to the simpler lines above. "Until his body slumped to the ground, his eyes staring unseeing at the winter sky."
It's just an idea, and you could probably find a way to write the last sentence that works for you better. Take my idea or discard them as you will ^_^
Overall, you have a good, solid, and well written little piece here. You have a nice writing style, and give enough insight into the main character without overloading with information. You have effectively drawn me into the story, encouraged me to keep reading, looking for explanations. So I congratulate you on that part.
As for plot, I do not know enough to really have a real opinion as of yet. I am curious, though, what does she do with the bodies?
Again, well done. I enjoyed reading this.
If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. I'll be glad to help any way I can.

LUCY STARTED A NEW STORY?! MAN WHERE HAVE I BEEN.
Oh yeah, up at the mountains where I receive no internet or cell phone reception. |:
So here's the deli-o. I'ma read this dizzle. Then give you the review dizzle. AIGHT?!
I liked this(:
Who could forget Christmas?! Hmm, interesting. Haha
That's right! Yer english!
Change were to was.
Good description. Only, yer coma-nazi found a coma error! (:
Change the beginning to: The small stores, businesses, pup and small hotel.
Si?
Coma-Nazi order: remove that coma! d:
Never start a sentence with a conjunction, dear! Unless you happen to be a really good published author, but for right now let's keep it this way. Ha.
Wait, she gave the bar tender a note? Or is that another English thing.... or am I just being stupid? ha
*around
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Good laugh.
That's a word?! I feel dumb. I was going to say do you mean gapping or gawking? Guess not. d:
If it hurt bad, wouldn't it be "Ow!" ?
Conjunction and change 'its' to his.
Conjunction! How about:
Then I bit him...
drank his blood...
until he couldn't breath any more.
Overall
This was fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed it. You're very realistic and believable in your writing which is sooooo refreshing. I love being able to read you're pieces. You truly have a talent for the art! This is going to turn out good, I just know it. I'm still hooked on your tittle-less story and here I am hooked on this! Good work, doll!
Thank you all three of you for your amazing reviews - they were just what I needed, so thank you. They will all come in extemely helpful during my editing of this and also the writing of the rest of it, so thank you so much for taking your time to read and review this, I appreciate it a lot
So, thank you!! =D

Hi Lucyy,
I like Nina, she seems tougher, more fierce, then all the other vampire characters in different stories. But there isn't much of a plot here. I know it's only the first chapter, but I think I should have some idea of what this story is leading up to. Your first chapter is mainly your first impression and right now it's kind of vague.
There should be a 'z' in mesmerizing.
I feel like this sentence needs to be reworded completely or made into more then one sentence. Plus you used the word 'and' six times in the sentence so it kind of made it sound like a run on to me. Sorry
Your tenses confused me here. Somewhere in the beginning you wrote studied' which is past tense and here you wrote 'it craves', present tense. I think it would be better and easier if you stuck with past tense.
This is an awkward sentence. I was pulled from my silent observation of the drink to find a friendly man smiling at me.
Between 'man' and 'stood' I think your missing 'who'.
It should have a 'k' in it.
No offense but this last part is kind of cliche. sorry- again

At the time I read this part I was thinking, 'why would she bother with shoes if she wouldn't have been able to feel anything?' Of course, I read on and realized it was because of wanting to fit in with the humans. Now, you might want to make that bit clear in the beginning. Without that small fact, it seems kind of pointless.
The were should be was. Tense.
And mesmerizing is spelled wrong.
This is a bit of a run-on sentence, and it gets a bit confusing.
Tense. Craves should be craved.
Incorrect colon placement. Colons are used if you're going to list things like: who, what, when, where, why, and how. Although, you can list whatever you would like.
Do you mean challenge instead of change? If not, then change doesn't make sense.
Again, the colon doesn't work. You could use a semi-colon if you wished.
This is a bit choppy and tell-y, and everything we hate as a reader. You could do so much with this, and we get four short sentences. Describe, feel, intensify.

Characters:
Nina: She was a pretty average vampire, from what I've read. I kept waiting for her to call out, in a menacing voice, "I vant to suck your bloooood!" What makes her special in this? I know it's only the first chapter but still, there has to be something that sucks us in right away...no pun intended. What makes me want to read about her for some three hundred or so pages?
Peter: It was obvious in this that Peter's only purpose was to be eaten. And really, that's all. He didn't act like a person at all. In fact, he didn't exist unless he was talking or Nina was looking at him. He was a two-demential, boring person. Even through it is in first person, describe him. And I don't mean looks. I mean, what is he doing? You can't tell me he didn't struggle while he the life was being sucked out of him. You can't tell me he didn't react to anything? Show us this, please.
Plot:
As with the characters, it was rather trite for a vampire story. Again I find myself wondering, why bother? Why go on with this? You haven't caught me. And no, you're vampires don't have to sparkle and dazzle to capture attention, but they have to have something. Weaknesses, fears, conscience. Why these vampires? Why now? What is so special about this story?
Overall:
I quite enjoy reading your writing style, and while there were some tense issues throughout, brush that up and it'll be lovely to read. Now, that's just talking about the words. Conceptually, and through execution, it was weak.
But it has loads of potential. So keep it up!

I liked this, it wasn't a copy of twilight, not that anyone'd want to copy twilight anyway. I did enjoy it though. Writing it in first person worked well, and no, I couldn't tell that you don't usually write in first person. It had really good insight, instead of just saying that you ate the human, you gave us your initial opinion, the thoughts and feelings you felt upon first seeing him. Surveying him and commenting on him, before 'seducing' and eating him.
Well done
