Review of Adorkable by Sarra Manning

Adorkable is a told from the point of view of two different people; Jeane Smith, queen of all dorks with half a million followers on twitter, which is far more than she has in real life; and Michael Lee, the most popular boy in school with people just queueing up to go out with him.

My first impression of the book was that it would be the classic boy and girl fall-in-love-without-really-meaning-to-and-live-happily-ever-after. It was far from that though.

I immediately fell in love with Jeane's wacky character (but not her sense of style) and merely the description of Michael's cheekbones made me swoon.

Their personalities developed throughout the story, and I got to know them well. I got a bit undecided at the end about what I wanted to happen, but ultimately I think her decision was the right one.

I would definitely recommend this book to any girl my age and can't wait to read more by Sarra Manning in the future.
