She sits upon her bed side,
Wishing something would happen.
may be her parents would die in a crash!
Or their relationship would be swept away by the tide.
She hears the fighting, the slamming of doors.
the ugly words and awful sobs.
The girl never knew such emotions before.
Never dreamed of a divorce.
She cries in the bathroom after hearing another fight.
The tears keep coming till they are extinct.
Somehow these actions seem somewhat linked.
She remebers praying to her God,
wanting this to happen.
Now that she had experienced this,
She knew what it was like to be the knot
In A Broken Marriage.

The knot in a broken marriage part is very witty.
I did not like how you rhymed extinct and linked but didn't rhyme anything else. I don't know if we were just supposed to pretend it didn't rhyme or not?
I totally get the story you are trying to get across and I felt the emotion when i was reading it so that must be good too.
keep writing!
