Hi! I'm here to leave a quick review!!!
First Impression:
Anyway let's get right to it,
Okay, so this definitely looks like a summary or I suppose I would even call this a bit of a pitch or a synopsis here with the way that its written, and well, those are always fun to take a look, especially when they're as intriguing as this one is. Okay, that aside well, it appears we're jumping right into some murder stories here and well, those are definitely the kind to get people's attentions pretty quickly there...they certainly are one of the worst things that can happen and when you talk a series of them happening, its certainly a pretty serious situation. And then of course there's the fact that it appears people tend to ignore things like that, which is a pretty curious detail there...cause murders are usually going to get folks to notice unless crime is just that ridiculously rampant, but then of course there's the talk of these murders being more brutal than most and also being marked.
At any rate, that's certainly going to get anyone's attention there, a story about a killer that is as brutal as what's mentioned here, and then of course it appears this is going to be a story on finding a solution to all these mysterious murders and as somehow who loves mystery stories like that, this is certainly sounding like something that I would read. And then of course that last line though...I wonder what exactly that's meant to be. Is this going to be a series with sequels? Or are we alternate realities or something like that? It's hard to decipher there.
Aaaaand that's it for this one.
Overall:
As always remember to take what you think was helpful and forget the rest.

I agree. Publishing costs points, so just write your story (or chapter) and see what we think about it. "The victims were found with their faces gone. The victims have a symbol on their neck too." I would find a way to combine that into a more intricate sentence. All in all, it sounds like it will be an amazingly horrifying and mysterious story. I can't wait to see the finished product!!!

Hi!
First of all, I wouldn't suggest posting a summary up here. Why? Because it costs you points - points you so preciously earned, and you spend them. Sure, it's a great way to get feedback about a summary, but still, I would suggest just to post it up on a forum or something next time.
Okay, for the actual summary.
You never really mentioned the title or your story - perhaps you could incorporate it in with the title 'Summary' or even just put it on the top of the page. Something simple. I don't just want to read a summary about an untitled, mysterious book.
Based off your summary - I expect it to be fantasy with the ominous fact that people have been murdered with their faces gone. There are, however, no more clues in the summary that this is fantasy, so I think you should write a little more about what it is about, and what other factors make it fantasy (without giving away the whole story, of course).
While reading, this sentence just struck out as bland . It wasn't eye catching, and didn't 'pop' as being important. Try to add that 'pop' aspect to this sentence - make it feel more important and scary feeling.
Who's Jason Cruller? Look in the books around you and read their summaries. They give a little background information about the character. We also don't know if this guy is human, or maybe a different creature. Don't give the whole plot away - just give enough to engage the reader.
Also, in the beginning, you need to capitalize New York City.
Well done! This story sounds creepy, but good too!
Good luck writing, I hope this review has helped you with your summary
