To find love and make every second count
To be loved, and to be happy, to die with no regrets.
To have some one walk with you, to the steps of heaven, or to hold your hand as you sink into hell,
To have gone to sleep every night, feeling complete and whole.
To have done something, and to have changed someone else’s life. For better, and some for worse.
So leave something behind that will influence generations to come, and most importantly,
To know that no dreams were wasted, no ships were sunk, no words were shattered, and no love was untrue, for no good reason.
And that what you have lived for, was not a lie.

This is really sweet- you have a great nack for poetry! Your writing is powerful, and I like the repetition used at the beginning of lines.
One thing I would say is that it may be better to separate the lines with a space- it would just look a little better, at the moment it seems a little squashed.
All in all, a beautiful poem- keep writing!
Beautifully written. And I agree completely.
