I see you with her

Although it's a blur.

They're all hallucinations,

I thought I had a confirmation.

I saw you kiss her,

so I know who you prefer.

They're all hallucinations,

You have an explanation.

I thought you liked me,

but I was really your trainee.

They're all hallucinations,

but it was an infestation.

They were all hallucinations.

But now you're my elimination.

First of all I am sorry. I havent yet read "Dear Someone Special" but I promise I will. This poem is very well written and I just loved it. Even though it had a darker mood to it it was still great (dont get me wrong I LOVE darker things). I think this poem had a good overall stucture and the way you wrote was just great! This poem defiantly have a like by me. Best of luck in the future and keep writing!

Very interesting sequel to "Dear Special Someone", though the ending was rather disappointing, I was hoping for it to end happily. Aw shame!

I liked how you kept repeating "they're all hallucinations". At first, I thought it was rather off putting and ruined the flow of the poem, but after reading it a second time, I understood why you did that. The girl was in some sort of daze where she couldn't comprehend the fact that her hopeful special someone had feelings for someone else, well, that was the way it came across anyway.

I rather liked this poem and I hope you continue to write more, my friend! :D

You're welcome ;)

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backwards. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that life's going to launch you into something great, so just focus and keep aiming.
