(Thanos Can) Rewrite The Stars

by lelu

Peter:

You know I love you

So I just called you to say goodbye

I hope you'll miss me

I'm freaking out 'cause I'm gonna die

And you are so very far

You're like a billion miles away

And out of reach from me

Though you're here in my heart

Thanos can stop me if I decide

That you're my destiny

Thanos can rewrite the stars

Though you were made to be mine

Thanos can keep us apart

Though you were the one I was meant to find

It's not up to you

It's not up to me

Thanos can say what we get to be

Thanos can rewrite the stars

He took the world that was ours

Tonight

MJ (to Thanos):

You think it's easy

You think that nothing can topple you

But we are heroes

And we refuse to be cut in two

I know you're wondering "Why?"

Because you killed Peter Parker and Loki

And their fangirls

Are gonna totally kill you and you'll wake up and see that it was hopeless after all

How can you rewrite the stars?

Peter was made to be mine

Nothing can keep us apart

And he is the one I was meant to find

It's not up to you

It's up to me

No one can say what we get to be

No one can rewrite the stars

Say that the world can't be ours

Tonight

(Together)

All I want is to fly with you

All I want is to fall with you

So just give me all of you

Peter: It feels impossible

MJ: It's not impossible

Peter: Is it impossible?

Together: Say that it's possible

Thanos can't rewrite the stars

'Cause you were made to be mine

Thanos can't keep us apart

'Cause you are the one I was meant to find

It's up to you

And it's up to me

Thanos can't say what we get to be

Thanos can't rewrite the stars

Saving the world that was ours

MJ:

You know I love you

But I won't let you say goodbye

Thanos may kill you

I'll bring you back even if you die

Hello Ielu

Its amazing! I love the expression to this poem!
The topic, and emotion was great.
It was an absolutely beautiful peace of art.
There doesn't seem to be any problems with it with grammar or punctuation.
There's a good among of space between the lines.
Everything seems perfectly lined up.

I hope to read more of your work soon

Sincerely Anma

Being both a Marvel fan and a Greatest Showman fan, I applaud you. I was laughing the entire time. Especially the "Peter was made to be mine" bit. Classic. I love the way you integrated Thanos into the Rewrite the Stars song. And the last two lines "Thanos may kill you/ I'll bring you back even if you die" I think that was amazing.
Yes, I love Peter and Loki too. Hopefully everything gets fixed in the sequel coming in APRIL!!!

Hi. Morgan here. I heard the song and I actually like it. So when I saw this on here, I was so excited. I really love music and and I really find it relaxing to listen to. I really love the message behind this too. Music is just poetry put into words, and so I guess that this was truly a sweet song.

I really like this!

Oh...and Zendaya....of course.

This was a very interesting concept. I can honestly lowkey imagine them actually singing that. I think my only qualm is that some of the lyrics didn't flow right. Other than that, it was pretty good.

Why do we only rest in peace? Why don't we live in peace too?
