Black Tears

Black Tears

I sit here looking down at my fear

Wondering what I did to deserve this grief so dear

You left me strangled in a dark place to deep

You look at me with a face full of conceit

I beg I cry and whine

But nothing turns your gaze to interlock with mine

You look back at the tearing black wall

And pretend not to hear me and not hear my calls at all

The silent tears escape my eye

Once again you don’t notice and let out a sigh

You say I should have known

That I shouldn’t have even tried

I look into you’re your green eyes and say it wasn’t pride

It wasn’t even a lie

It’s like I can see your soul and all it’s already dry

I’m bound by these pain filled cuffs

Like I don’t know how to say when’s enough

You drag me under with your pitch black tears

And you bring along my downward fears

Lust and sorrow turn into one

Weighing us down

It feels like a ton.

I’m trough

You’ve won the war

Even though I don’t know what you were fighting for

Was the prize a broken heart or two?

If so then you won the feud

But I will always be there

Even though our love is still raggedy

But you know ill defend our tragedy

Also known as our end

Hey! ajruby12 here to review.. (And welcome!)
I noticed a couple spelling errors, such as "You left me strangled in a dark place to deep"
Also, the line underneath that, "I beg I cry.." needs commas.. Another thing.. Word choices are a mess sometimes, I know.. But I think more descriptive words would help. (And I know you wrote this 4 years ago..) But nice job anyway!

Hell :).

First I'd like to say Welcome to YWS!!!!!

I've only noticed a very few minor spelling errors in this poem. In the line "You left me strangled in a dark place to deep" You need to add another "o" for the word too. "I beg I cry and whine"-- I think you might want to put a comma in between I beg and I cry.

Also this seems to be a very emotional poem. I like the descriptions you used in this poem, you can definitely tell this came from the heart and is very personal. I like that you choose to share it on here with the rest of us :)
