The dream of you and me when we share our vows
I'll wait for you...will you wait for me
when our love comes shining through
It'll mean so much to me and more
I'll wait for you...will you wait for me
No matter where life takes us through these hard years
I'll keep you in my heart
I'll wait for you...will you wait for me.
So, until then i'll keep that dream in my heart
And hold it tight
No matter what happens
Just know that I'll wait for you...will you wait for me??

i dont know...i dont really like it. lol just thought id see what someone else thought.

To start with as a reader, I am very put off by the author's note, which is telling me how the poster feels about their work. You're telling me that you don't like how this poem turned out but posted it to see what other people would say. There's a lot to unpack there but mainly it sounds like you're begging for a positive reaction and lots of praise, which judging from the fact this is still in the green room, didn't work out.
I don't mean to judge people like this. You just need to be very careful about what comments you're adding to your notes section because it's going to have an impact on how the reader sees your work. And now this has given me a bad impression of the entire poem, from you saying you don't like it and also unsure of where it went.

God almighty, why are there so many ellipsis?
I know that young poets really like to use ellipsis because they're a classy part of grammar and add a dramatic effect. That dramatic effect only lasts for so many uses and if you try to use them in close proximity, it's not going to work. I don't see a reason to use ellipsis here when the effect you want could have easily come from a dash, a comma, or a slight change in the structure. These are all more aesthetically pleasing and realistic ways to represent the content in the poem.
This brings me to the further grammar issue of your complete lack of commas and question marks, until using two question marks at the end. Again, this isn't the right strategy to be proceeding with and it could be easily fixed to provide a better flow. people always seem to forget that flow is dependent upon the structure and grammar, as evident in your poem. I'd like to see a lot of work in this region before we even really start talking about the content.

Cliche.

The one review that this work got used the word "cliche" to summarize what was happening. And as the table turns to me, I'm going to agree with them on that point. This poem was trying very hard to be romantic but somewhere along the way it forgot about the quality of the content. One thing I can say is that i can feel all of the emotion that you put into it. Even with all of the emotion put in that is supposed to be coming to the reader on the other side, it gets caught in the words that you use.
They're rather bland and rely on the reader following through the pattern, which is very distracting to do. And it's about waiting for the person before starting your life, so I would have expected there to be more struggles about the path in between. That's the sort of thing that you need to include to make this poem exciting and attractive.

I don't feel anything from this.
But it's supposed to show love.
Edit and try again.

I like the topic. Do you know or is it about TLW? Just wondering.... But yeah the repetitiveness of "I'll wait for you...will you wait for me" got a little annoying. But everything else I liked.

"The dream"

is that part of the poem or the title like put there?

"I'll wait for you...will you wait for me"

? at the end

It was a bit repetive and that got waaaay annoying in my case.
It seems like half the poem was written in
I'll wait for you will you wait for me
status....

Um... I hate using this word and admitting in but, cliche'
and... a bit annoying.... Hm.... And much more.
Edit it, work on making it longer, awkwardness...
