There's Someone on the Other Side of the Glass.
by Kisba
i know that you have trouble
stayin awake
when you're in school
i know that you've been trying
masquerading and playing it cool
you say...
GET ME STONED.
bring me home.
cause i can be yours,
when we're alone.
i know you're waiting for the right guy
and i'm really just a pigsty
you only really forget that
when you're in the sky....
cause adrian when you're high,
i'm thinkin about you and i,
and you're just learnin to fly
on your own.
look at you while you sit on your ass,
we can still delay the crash,
and i sit and listen
as you talk about the man
on the other side of the glass.
you dont know who he is,
where he's from,
why he's here,
or when he'll come,
but you seem to know
just how fast it's all gonna go,
with the man on the other side of the glass.
no one looks in, and no one looks out,
but if someone's watching
isn't it something to be excited about?
he might be 18,
on the swim team, has a summer job cooking burritos bean-by-bean, his favorite color is green,
not that kid who forgot how to dream...
he might be tall,
plays basketball, gives everything he does his all,
not the kid smoking the marlboro menthols...
he might be the kid who you were just talking on the phone with.
but that's nonsense.

eh, it was okay.
May I suggest that you don't use cuss words? Sorry, but that's just a pet peeve of mine.
