As I grabbed my stuff, I scrambled out of the train and stepped onto the platform. It was a warm morning and the place was filled with millions of students supposedly going to Reyland Academy. No one was familiar and I realized I didn't even get mystery boy's name.
Just like a genie at it's masters commands, two hands grabbed onto my waist. I gasped and spun around.
"hey," I smiled up into his blue eyes.
"Hey I-" he replied, but then I cut off his speech. "You first." I nodded shyly.
"I didn't get your name. Mines Ivy."
"Jace," he did a lop sided grin, the one that made my heart flatter the previous night.
"Cool, Jace. I don't know where I'm going. Can you help me?" I didn't know anyone else who can help me.
"Sure." He grabbed my rucksack and swung it onto his back.
"Thanks Jace." I stayed close to him as we weaved our way through the waves of people. Somehow I felt safe with him.
We walked to a place that seemed out of a movie. A line of red taxis with the Reyland logo were lined up with drivers waving at us.
"We'll take this taxi." He led me to one of the vehicles. I smiled at the chauffeur. As we clambered into the car, I wandered what it would feel like to kiss Jace. He sat right next to me and rested his palm on my thigh. I looked down at it. I don't know what I looked like, but he took his hand away.
I shot a look at him.
"Sorry," he shrugged. I didn't want his hand to go away, it felt like fireworks on my thigh.
Half an hour later, we pulled up beside what I bet was Reyland Academy. It was massive, like Buckingham Palace when I visited my aunt in London.
Standing outside the car was a pretty girl with curly brown hair, smiling widely at me and waving. As I got out of the car she bounded towards me.
"Hey, I'm Chanelle. You must be Ivy. Don't ask me why I know. Small world. You came with someone else..."
"Hey," I knew she was a prep rally girl, annoyingly great at everything. Jace came out of the car and smiled at her.
"Jace. You came with Jace, great, " she turned her scowl to a smile.
"Hey Chanelle," Jace said breezily. Chanelle blushed and turned her status from 10 to 0.
"Hey Jace," she said in a small high pitched voice. I realized she was one of those girls and Jace was THE guy.
"Ivy, meet me at my dorm at 7:30. section A boys." He said it as he walked away.
"Cool," I tried to sound nonchalant but in my heart I was flying.
Chanelle glared at me then smiled at Jace, like a pageant girl who'd done a petty mistake.
I went through the day, acting as if I didn't know where I was going. But I did, my dad showed me everything, everyday when I used to live with him and my mom. To be honest I was only looking forward to one thing, Jace.
When the last bell went Chanelle caught up with me and asked, "You coming to get a smoothie with us?" As if she didn't know I was meeting Jace.
"Us?" I smiled not so sweetly, there was no one else around. Just then, three more girls appeared. They looked so pretty and sweet and girly, it gave me a tooth ache.
"I'm Hazel," said a red head, who had her skirt a little too tight.
"Jessica," smiled a brunette with the most straightened hair I'd ever seen.
"Megan," a blonde bimbo like girl said with an icy smile.
I shivered, "Hi".
Megan hooked arms with me. "Lets play a game shall we? Lets call it Twisted. Make sure you stick with us if you don't want people to find out your past. If you win, your secrets safe with me. I f you lose, or step on the wrong toes, I will expose your past."
The words had just registered to my mind. Did she just say that?
"My w-what?"
She smiled as if I was a little kid who didn't get a simple addition question.
"Your past, silly. I'm sure you wouldn't want anyone to find out about your incident."
I couldn't take it. I yanked her arm off of me and began to walk away. Her voice overtook my mind. I was suffocating. This secret was like a rope round my neck. I didn't know who Megan was and what she wanted for me but I didn't like her. That's what I always did, I walked away from my problems.
Megan followed me and whipped me around. "Oh yes Ivy, I've done my fair share of scooping around."
"What do you know about me?" I whispered. Where was my voice?
"I knew your boyfriend Ben. I know what you did. And you might have slipped past the law, but I won't let you get away with it. You've just entered yourself into a game that you'll lose. Good luck."
"How do you know Ben?"
she just smiled, said nothing and ran away. I was left there standing, scared and confused. Twisted. That was the game she'd entered me into. I hated that word, I bet she thought it described me.
I checked my watch. quarter past seven. Only fifteen minutes left to meet Jace.
Better get ready.

Hey there!
HAppy Review Day to you!
I haven't read the previous chapters, so my review will be based only on this chapter as I have no idea about what was going on before.
I'm assuming she doesn't know this "mystery boy" very well, if that is the case no one would grab someone onto their waist unless it is a friend. Also I do not understand what you mean by the genie reference.
She should be capitalized.
Quarter should be capitalized.
Overall, this was a good read. Work on your dialogues and it will do great!
Keep Writing!

Hey there ! Just came and read your chapter
It is a very cliche chapter . I have come across a lot of stories that are like this. You also have A LOT of dialogue and no offence but in my opinion it it isn't that great.
I appreciate all the feed back I can get !!
I think that if you had more details and more perspective in this chapter it would be a lot better and if you put more time into it there is a great deal of potential.
Sorry for being so rough but i see a lot of people make silly mistakes and I try to help!! I hope i did anyways !!!
When you get some time you should read my 2 chapters of my story "A Singly Black Rose" and tell me what you think
Thanks in advance

No disrespect to your review but if you've read the previous chapters then it wouldn't be as cliche as you think. However thank you for taking your time to read and comment on my work.
