Someone I knew
by iamjemo
Verse I
My heart misses a piece of it
Something I can’t fill in
It longs for someone I knew
Someone I already knew
Refrain
The truth of salvation
Captivates me
The freedom I long for
Lies within me
Chorus
It’s always You who completes
Always You who sustains
It’s always You who believes
Always You
Only You
Verse II
My life needs a light
The world cannot give
I long for someone I knew
Someone I already knew
Repeat Refrain and Chorus
Bridge
I know you’re the missing piece
I know you’re the light
Jesus, you’re someone I knew
Jesus, it’s always You
Repeat Chorus

Is this about Jesus Christ or some Mexican guy named Jesus \"hey zues\" . If it\'s about Jesus Christ I find it hard to believe that you \"knew\" him since you weren\'t born when he was alive. Unless you\'re saying you \"knew\" him from what you read in the bible..either way it doesn\'t mean you really \"knew\" him. You knew who he was from what you read, but that\'s not really a personal friendship or anything. I was trying to make some kind of point but lost all of it now..lol.
Anyway, if this is about Jesus Christ it isn\'t really something I would ever listen to or like. Religious songs are a little difficult to write because no matter what anyone does it always comes out corny and lame. I know this because I\'ve tried to write religious songs before and when I\'m in the process of writing them I feel like it\'s really awesome. It\'s only after I finish the lyric that I realize how pathetic it is.
Although, if it\'s about some mexican guy named Jesus...it\'s still not that great.
Sorry
Jesus still loves you though..lol
