Okay so hi, hello there.
Oh where to begin... this is interesting? Kinda? Honestly, it isn't really, but that's me. I don't really like reading or writing essays. xD
First off, I assume you are Mary Ann? If so, you did a good job of writing this in a third person, detached way. As in, you didn't attempt to shed any glorious light on yourself or make yourself look like a saint or someone who cured cancer. You were honest and brief and focused more on facts than making this paint you in a certain way, so that's good. No one likes a narcissist. >_>
Moving on, this was very factual. An abundance of information about Mary Ann Hyman that was shown in a smooth, orderly fashion. Yay!
Overall, a nicely written essay/article thingy.
Hope that helps~
That was an interesting read.
Full of buzzwords and praise, but sadly I couldn't get much factual information from your text. I still have no idea What Mary Ann Hyman actually does, but if that's the kind of thing you're after it's very well done. I do have to mention the word repetitions though, good maybe due to the buzzwords, but not actually to make a good read. I also have no idea who Mary Ann Hyman is personality wise, which is quite well done in terms of keeping it general and positive, but since I'm not sure what you're after probably worth mentioning. You put a lot of stuff in there, which would indicate either a very career oriented person or an older one, in either case her career seems to lack a degree of focus. More detail concerning achievements and what they mean for her as well as to other people might be useful as well.
