T.V.

It tells me stories of sorrow and grief,
Flowers and leaves,
Sunshine and sea.
It shows me things I need to see,
Either good or bad,
Happy, or sad.
I need it,
I hate it,
Why do I use it?
My own Adventures are right out the door.

i like this poem. You captured the feeling of everyone who watches t v- i need it, i hate it.
the flow is a little bit strange, however. Umm... was grief/leaves trying to rhyme? It kind o threw off the balance, and "flowers and leaves" sounds a little strange. I don't know about you, but I don't watch nature shows with up-close flora often.
the length of each line is strange- some uber short, some much longer....
i also like how in the very end it talks about "my own adventures right out the door," but don't capitalize the adventures.

Edna began to feel like one who awakens gradually out of a dream, a delicious, grotesque, impossible dream, to feel again the realities pressing into her soul.
