There is an image of perfection painted by the media. An unrealistic set of expectations that society places on people, and promises that it will solve all their problems. Will it though? Perfection is unattainable, yet people want it. All the while though, when you see 'perfection' portrayed in the media, you think to yourself, "That isn't normal!" For example, an image of the perfect family is the one where all of the members participate and successfully keep the unit working. No conflict, everyone's schedules work together, and everybody agrees on everything! Nobody wants to see that though! But why? If we crave perfection so passionately, why do we find it abnormal when we actually see it? It is boring! It isn't realistic!
When you turn on the TV, do you select the sitcom about the perfect family with everything going for them, or the movie where someone dies or gets their heart smashed or falls ill?! Most everyone chooses the latter. Pefection is unappealing to see, but everybody wants it. The truth is, people are drawn to chaos because it is entertaining.
Chaos is the one common thing that brings all species together as one! There is some element of chaos in everything. It unites everybody and everything and will, inevitably, cause and be caused by our end. Mankinds attraction to chaos will bring our downfall upon us. Mankind, unfortunately, will be the end of itself.
We cannot attain perfection. We want it. People go mad for it. Perfection is not possible, and only exists in our fantasies, which is why our dreams are severed by reality. It is the only thing seperating our dreams from reality. Perfection isn't normal. It is the only reason that we are entertained by chaos. Because chaos is normal.

Interesting... What is this supposed to be (Don't mean to be rude or anything)? Is this a discussion sort of thing? Because I think you have a point.
But the reason why people are naturally drawn to movies or books where someone falls ill or there's some dramtic love triangle is because that people don't want to read or watch about a perfect family.
Why?
Because it's boring!!! It's boring to read about a perfect family that have no problems what so ever. It's lame to watch a family with great grades, wonderful friends, doing fine in work, or finding the perfect boy/girl friend.
I think that's why people are naturally drawn to chaos.
Do you agree?
