(Before I hand this over, I just want to say that even though I know who he is, I have decided to leave this (fictional) character to each individual's imagination, so run wild! I would love to know what you think, but look deeper than the words!)
To The Mildly Interested.
I have compiled these writings so that you might gain some knowledge. However, you are the only one who has power and control over yourself...therefore use it wisely.
Are you wondering who I am? It is a very good and brave question, that I am not going to answer. For your own safety I suggest gathering more information before questioning further. If you want to know who I am, this is the wrong place to look. My name is great, yet it is unknown to all save the elite few who have searched (with me after asking for my assistance) for knowledge and understanding...and succeeded.
Most who want understanding and knowledge do not truly desire to find them, so they have closed their eyes. A lesson: You will do better to open your soul [especially when venturing onto another's path, into another's world, or to peer through another's eyes] than to close your mind, cover your self and hide your heart.
Even now, the thoughts and tales of these are not what really matters. No, the reason that we have chosen to share our lives is to ensure that you, yes you, can learn to see everything and everyone in your own way as well as how others do.

I really rather liked it. It's fun to mull over.
But, as far as anything else other than thought provoking goes, it's not really much. In that I mean there seems no purpose to it? Specifics are needed at some point.
I get it, but i agree it's a bit unstructured. I like the mystery but i think our mystery man would organize his thoughts better if he was trying to endow grand knowledge.
Nicely written though. I want to see more.

This is odd...
It's well written, but for me way too vague to be enjoyed. It was rambling to too great of an extent for me to enjoy, you know? And sure you are trying to make us guess who it is, but you were so vague and abstract that I couldn't guess and nor could I really hit a point for what it is about.
It reminded me of something classified, like CIA work, or something from the KGB or SS. (Don't you love secret police?)
So.. it was good but much too abstract for me to like. Er. Yes.
I agree, this is good, but who is it. I know that you want to let us sort of find out for ourselves, but come on, do tell...
Good.....
But it needs to be more definate! Who *is* this bloke who's talking? Someone who's thoughtful and wise and who has seen a lot of things and a lot of people, who has witnessed things no other person has. Someone who knows what treasure and knowledge and devastation are. Someone whose name is important, yet does not contribute to the knowing of their character. Someone who refuses to sign a letter.
I'm stumped.
Who is it? *puppy eyes*
