Josh Hutcherson Fanfiction, anyone?

by fanoffiction

I had just walked out of the LosAngeles airport on the 3rd of December.
I was visiting my grandparents for Christmas
and had planned to surprise them later that evening. I had barely
gotten into town and already I was missing my parents. After all,
this was the first time i'd ever left the house in my eighteen years
of life. My bus was arriving in ten minutes, so I hurriedly made my
way to the Bus Stop and found myself sitting with a short, blonde
haired boy.

He was wearing sunglasses, which made me pause.
It was the the middle of winter, after all. I glimpsed the bench he
was sitting on, and saw that it was covered in ice. He had to be
cold, and seeing as the bus was still at least eight minutes away, I
offered him my green, crocheted scarf. He thanked me and wrapped it
around his neck. I looked down the road at the coming traffic and
then down at my watch. I could tell the boy was staring at me, and I
could see him fidgeting slightly out of the corner of my eye. It was
actually kind of cute. I glanced down at him just as he was turning
away and asked if I could sit next to him. When he spoke to me, just
a simple yes, his voice was soft and sweet. I felt as though I could
trust him with my life. We struck up a conversation and found we had
a lot in common. Even down to the same favorite color.

I was having such a good time that When the bus
finally arrived and it was almost twenty minutes late, I didn't
notice. I got on it and looked out the window at the passing cars,
people, and occasional animal on the streets and wished to be back
home in my small town. The boy didn't sit next to me, but what was I
expecting? When the bus stopped, and I walked down the stairs, I
glanced back at the boy. His head was down, and it looked like he had
dropped something. I don't know why, but he piqued my interest. As
the doors closed, a slight chill rand down my spine. I turned around
and pulled a hand up to my bare neck just as the bus was pulling
away. The boy had my scarf.

-

Finishing up the dishes at my grandparents
house, I looked into the living room just as grandpa changed the
channel. It was news. I set my sponge down and joined him on the
couch.
~And now back to you, Charlotte.~
~Thanks Brad! In other news, Josh Hutcherson is
looking for a "Mystery girl!" He has put down a reward for
anything you might know about this girl he met on a bus Thursday
morning on his way from the LA Airport. She had brown hair, blue
eyes, and in his words, "Just something you couldn't miss."~
A picture flashed across the screen of the
celebrity and I had to lean in closer. A green, crocheted scarf was
wrapped around his neck.

A few seconds passed by before grandpa noticed
my stunned look. He offered me conversation, but I turned him down
and stumbled into the room I was staying in. Josh Hutcherson was
looking for me? I lied back on my bed and looked up at the ceiling.
What if he wasn't? What if he was talking about someone else, and he
just happened to still be wearing my scarf? I let myself settle into
that thought, but it had almost been a week since the bus ride, and
he could have gotten a new scarf, right? Turning over on my side, I
pulled my pillow to my chest and smiled into it.

-

A few days had passed, me glued to the TV. So
many girls were lining up to tell Josh that they were his 'Mystery
Girl.' But he saw through all of them. After all, he'd seen my face.
Each time he turned down a girl, i'd let out a sigh of relief, and
i'd be filled with hope. Hope that he would find me and sweep me off
my feet. But that wasn't going to happen. I knew he wouldn't be able
to find me,and the only time I ever got out of the house was to go
shopping with grandma. Since I was heading to the store with her
later, I prayed to God that he would just happen to be there.

Grandma decided we would go to the mall and
finish up our gift shopping. She gave me 20 dollars and sent me to
buy a pair of socks for grandpa. When I was almost to the store, I
noticed a small mob formed around something, or someone. I almost
didn't stop, but what if it was him? I glanced behind me just in case
grandma had been following me and hurried over. There were so many
people gathered around I couldn't see past them all. So I looked
around, stepped back, and stood on a trashcan, barely glimpsing
blonde hair, and a green, crocheted scarf.

I almost jumped for joy, but seeing as I was on
a trashcan, I decided against it. I jumped down, almost spraining my
ankle in the process and made my way through the crowd. He was also
making his way through, but in the opposite direction. I called out
to him, but he couldn't have heard me through all the noise. I ran up
to him and got a hold of my scarf. He spun around so fast, it made my
head spin. He grabbed onto my hand that was holing the scarf. Without
his sunglasses, he had the most beautiful hazel eyes i'd ever seen.
He stared at me for a few minutes without saying anything, then let
my hand go. He started to look me up and down, and all I could do was
stand there.

Josh's manager came up behind him and grabbed
his arm, whispering something into his ear, but he wasn't listening.
His eyes were still glued to me. He shrugged his arm out of his
manager's grip and took my hand, pulling me out of the crowd and into
a small store. The one I was headed to to buy socks, coincidentally.
This was very exciting. I almost let out a laugh at that thought when
he started to tell me how he had been looking for me ever since the
bus. He said he was going to ask me my name, when he dropped his pen.
When he looked back up, I was gone and all he had of mine was the
scarf.

I sighed as I left the store, his number in
hand, and a touched my cheek. He had kissed it just before I left and
asked to see me again. I was high on excitement and felt the world
was at my fingertips.

-

Two days passed before I finally had the courage
to call him. But when I did, his manager answered. He apologized, and
said Josh couldn't be bothered with me, and that he was shooting a
few scenes for a new movie. I could have left it at that and told him
to have him call me, but the way he talked to me just wasn't right,
and I told him so. He laughed at my remark and told me that Josh
wouldn't be calling me back today. So I hung up and waited. I waited
for an entire week for him to call, but he never did. I was just
staring to give up hope, when he called me. I answered it with
enthusiasm and he answered me, just the same. When our conversation
was over and he really had to get back to work, he asked me to go on
a date with him. I was overjoyed, and I didn't even hesitate when I
answered yes. I could feel him smiling through the phone when we hung
up.

We talked a lot before the date, and when it
finally came, I wasn't sure what to do with myself. I fidgeted, and
messes around with the napkins until he arrived. His grin on seeing
me made me melt, and I was sure my heart skipped a beat. He talked
about his work, and about the new movie. It sounded very exciting. I
watched his lips move as he talked, and I never looked away from
them. When the date was over, we walked outside to a slew of
paparazzi, and he pulled me into a back alleyway while his manager
held them off. His lips were so soft, I almost couldn't stand it. His
lips and mine fit almost perfectly and in that moment, I wanted to
stay there forever. I saw a flash through my closed eyes just a Josh
pulled back. His face twisted in anger, slightly, but he looked back
at me and it returned to it's former state. When he took my hand
again, and pulled me into a waiting car, he didn't let go.

We pulled up to the front of my grandparent's
house and he walked me to the door. This time, he just kissed my
cheek and smiled one of his smiles. Again, I melted. I wondered what
he saw in me. He could have any girl he wanted, really. I stepped
through the door and watched him leave.

-

A picture of the two of us showed up in the
papers the next morning and my grandpa spotted me right away. He
didn't say anything at first, but he eventually smiled and told me
good luck.

Josh and I would talk often after our date and
went on two more the next week. He was busy shooting, but always made
time for me. When it was almost time for me to go back home, I
couldn't tell him. It was painful enough leaving my grandparents, but
the boy I had started to fall for? It was too much. On our last date,
he noticed something was wrong, but didn't say anything about it. I
wished he had. Maybe then I would have had the guts to tell him.

When he took me home and walked me up to the
door, I finally told him. I could tell he was hurt. After all, I was
leaving in just two days. He asked to spend the next day and night
with me and that he would take me to the airport. Of course I said
yes. He kissed me goodnight, but unlike the other times, it was on
the lips. I almost started crying right then, but I stepping into the
house and closed the door before he could see. A few minutes later my
phone rang and I picked it up with a hello. It was the manager. He
didn't want me to see Josh anymore. He told me that the movie
producers were upset with how distracted Josh was, and that he could
be fired over me. I couldn't have that. Because of me, his career
could be going down the toilet.

When my grandma answered the door for Josh, I
was already gone. I had decided to stay at a hotel by the airport
until the flight, but had told my grandparents I had just gotten an
earlier one. I didn't tell them about Josh, and they just thought he
had work to do. Grandma was surprised to see Josh, i'll tell you
that. She let him in and told him that I had already left. When Josh
went back to his car, he came to the airport where I was checking on
my flight, and looked for me. When we finally locked eyes, I started
to cry because of how hurt he looked.

When he folded me up in his arms, I held on. I
didn't want to go, and he didn't want me leaving. I knew it was best
for him, though. He asked me why I didn't say goodbye, but all that
came out were sobs. He didn't let me go until a final boarding call
came for my flight. I held onto his hand until I was too far away to
reach.

-

It had been seven months since LosAngeles, and I
had started school. Everyone talked to me, but it was just because of
my winter spent with Josh. My new found fame even had my teachers
sucking up to me. A new movie theater had just opened up in my small
town and the first movie to play in it was Josh's. I sat in the dark
room and watched him constantly. The way he moved and said his lines
made me almost grateful that I had left. This was where he belonged,
and I was where I belonged. But when the end credits started rolling,
I saw something. At the very end, right before the movie cuts off, a
message dedicating Josh's performance to a nobody from a small town,
was sitting there, almost unnoticed. But I noticed it.

And I knew right then that he was still thinking
about me. That was when I heard someone clear their throat behind me.
But when I turned around, I wasn't expecting to see him. It was a
blonde haired, hazel eyed boy, with a green, crocheted scarf wrapped
around his neck.

Hello.

You have a very interesting style for writing this - like it's a script done on a typewriter or something. Either way it's ok. A stylistic feature.
So, for the content of the work itself, obviously this is a 'fanfiction' but I don't really understand how you can make that out of someone considering you haven't characterised him particularly clearly.

When he folded me up in his arms, I held on. I
didn't want to go, and he didn't want me leaving. I knew it was best
for him, though. He asked me why I didn't say goodbye, but all that
came out were sobs. He didn't let me go until a final boarding call
came for my flight. I held onto his hand until I was too far away to
reach.
When I look at this paragraph for example, I notice the way in which it's written and who the characters are, but it isn't necessarily that interesting.
It probably is to you as the creator, but you need to make this more engaging. Vary sentences, chop up ideas, introduce dialogue between characters.

Make this go somewhere!
You've got a story here, it just needs to be woken up in my own opinion.
It's up to you.

Keep writing

~R

Re-reading this, I don't even know why I posted it. It's more than a little embarrassing. Thanks for the comments! And I hadn't even noticed the font when I posted. -blushes profusely-

Hi, fanoffiction! This is pinkie here for a special review. Well, this isn't a special review because people doesn't this all the time. Anyway, let's get think things started. *puts on funny green glasses*

To say, this is a great story that you have that. This day is your first day, and you did very well. I love the romance on this story that you made. It remained me of Cinderella. It is great for the fans of John Hutcherson. However, you do have some errors on here.

For example,

"I was visiting my grandparents for Christmas
and had planned to surprise them later that evening. I had barely
gotten into town and already I was missing my parents. After all,
this was the first time i'd ever left the house in my eighteen years
of life. My bus was arriving in ten minutes, so I hurriedly made my
way to the Bus Stop and found myself sitting with a short, blonde
haired boy."

You don't have to start a new paragraph on this one. Keep as the one paragraph. Hey, you will be better than ever when you are on here. Practice makes prefect! I like this story. Great masterpiece! You did a great job!

Great Job and Keep on writing! :D

Cheers
