my fingers, buried in the frost

my fright - lost in the tide,
floating on its back,
tracing the sea into its belly,

(i swore i could see the waves
massage her where they met her back)

my darling, hair like the arctic
under six months of sun,
stroking the tundra from my face

(the sea must have drowned in those hands)

I do infact like this... I can relate because I walk to school every morning in below 60 degree weather so I understand ! I like how it makes you feel like you are really there and I don't really think I have anything bad to say about this besides that it could be longer!

This is stunning. I love it. The imagry is absolutly amazing, your vocabulary is beautiful, and the whole structure adds to the intrigue of it. I keep re-reading it, I wish my poetry was half as good as this! Please keep wiriting, I want to read more poetry like this! :)

Words are pale shadows of forgotten names. As names have power, words have power. Words can light fires in the minds of men. Words can wring tears from the hardest hearts.
