Something I made in about ten minutes just for fun. Try guessing what's going on? What's the secret << ?First person that gets it correct gets 50 points. (All I can afford :p)

Fortune Tellers’ Secret

Through the curtains, my first customer walked in,
I turned around and quickly signaled my monkey Lin.

Back up straight, fingers spread wide,
The customer flinched at my sudden pride.

Hovering my hands over the crystal ball,
As he made his way down the carpeted hall.

He sat on the chair, but felt something,
I swiftly grabbed his palm and started to sing.

Wide eyed, the man stared at me,
I stopped and turned to my pet monkey.

Distracting him I asked what he can see,
Then scanned what Lin handed over to me.

“Lemme guess your name…”
“Don’t try, it’s Toe,”
“You desire both love and fame—”
“That’s all you got? Eh, so?

I told him all his detailed personal information,
About his family, friends, arrivals and destinations.

I turned to Lin after he was satisfied,
He felt something again, but just sighed.

“This place gives me the creeps,” he snapped,
Left quickly through the curtains, which flapped.

He muttered, “Ten useless minutes of my life—spent,”
I smiled, knowing he collapsed at what he had left. :D

That really is a great story. I was trying to work out what it was and then saw the review.
That's actually really quite clever, its like a riddle.

I just realized I only got 35 points. I'll send them to you until I can get the other 15.

Okay, I'm LastPaladin and as you don't want a review I shall guess. Basically the Fortune Teller confounds the person their and while they're concentrating on the ball the monkey steals their purse or wallet. It's a con job and a very good one at that, and no one would be aware until it was too late. The fortune teller makes money not with what she does, but how she tricks people and the monkey is trained to steal whatever valuables they have.

Am I right?
