blood shed on a framed portrait
of four heads floating in a quarry,
our bodies are getting dry.
we have to not wish
semitic values
a "merry christmas",
ignorance isn't two sided.
a messy blood pact
over prime rib and
horribly wrapped presents,
a Pollock painting unfolds
slowly.
it's all a poorly worded idiom,
"different cover, same book",
but it still results in
sitting under a tree,
staring at items reminiscent
of luminous lights
on your death bed.
pressure doesn't matter,
it's only an act of lying to yourself.
things may be heavy,
but it isn't hard to lift.
your world is small.

Hi there, Stranger! I'm here to have a review for your work again. Yey! I just loved your works that much. Seriously.
It owns the essence of simplicity but, is resulting into a nice job. Your words are jumping in meanings. Also, they're playing with joy and seriousness. Lots of emotions for this one. You are a true writer. I mean, everyone can be a writer but, the way you manipulate things up for this, it's just so... what the! This is just so amazing!
I hope I can see more of your works and have some review for it. Have a nice day, friendy! Be better than better.

This poem is... just incredible. I am at a loss for words right now. It seems very satirical, yet also serious at the same time, which I like, because it gives you that humor and that seriousness, kind of like what you get out of life. This poem seems to capture that very well. I also really liked the last line, how you set it up to be alone, and the impact that sentence has. It was a very good way to close a poem.
There was really nothing that I disliked or disagreed with in this poem. I'm still in shock as to it's quality. Really, it's a fantastic poem. Anyway, good job! Thanks for the read!
