Outside Alone - Foris Solum

Fairy tales do make it seem so
Ordinary, as conventional as
Rising of the sun. But
I can tell you that it is but
Story Telling, no more
Set in stone than hearts cannot be stung.
Oh, how friends can turn to ash just as you
Lit the friendship! Swallowed up like sand right
Underneath the sea! But
Match for match, I shall ignite anew.

Another acrostic (first letters of each line will make a phrase).
Hope you enjoyed!

I like this poem its pretty good and pretty decent.
I like the way it looks to ,pretty much overall its
excellent poem.

Most acrostic poems are creative and fun, while this one has some deeper meaning. It was refreshing. :) I really like what you wrote here, because I can quite identify with it. :P Anyways, great job. :)

Thanks for the review.
Foris Solum means, as the title says, "Outside Alone". ;)

"Foris Solum"? *poker face* Am I an idiot for not knowing that?

Anyway, knowing it spelled out a phrase made more sense because I was like: Wait, what is this? Why does it look like this?

So, yeah. I can't really give much of a critique because I'm a more "technical" sort and it's pretty flawless from what I can see. However, you might want to add some commas, semi-colons, dashes--something of that sort to mark the ends of each line. Not exactly a rule, but it might add a better flow to a sort of choppy (just from the odd placement needed for spelling-out!) work.

I can say I quite like it, though. It made "sense" in its own way and I was nodding along and smiling, pretty content because I'm been back-stabbed before...and everyone likes to be acknowledged. But, yeah. Nice work and I'll have to take a peek around your portfolio.

So, basically... "You did excellent. Give yourself a pat on the back."

*tips hat* Gute Nacht. Oh, and good luck with any future work!
