Friggely, fibbely, fubbly woo,
At this time I feel like, phew!
'Tis too hot to walk and talk,
And too hot to even fret.
Lo, behold, the world has brought
It's roasting rays for us to sweat!
Should I grab that morning coffee,
Finish my hot bubble bath?
Ergo I feel like molten toffee,
Rinsing down World's wacky wrath.
Ventilate, oh, Ventilate!
End this horrid, heinous heat!
Never say it is too late, to
Switch the fan on and lift your feet!
A poem about the scorching heat I endured today both inside and outside. Hot damn! (Another acrostic if you care at all!)

Thanks for the responses guys! Really appreciate it!
I really liked this poem but at the same time the wording confused and baffled me but for some odd reason it did seem to some up the heat of the summer season.
Reading this I chuckled. I liked the way you just sort of slammed the words out there, and because this poem is the way I've been feeling all day, I especially enjoyed it.
One line though, didn't seem to really go....
All the others rhyme, but this line just doesn't seem to fit.
Other than that, I love it.
Way to go! ~Dragongirl
Haha! This was great! So lighthearted and, well... just epic. Good poem, I liked it.... a lot. I absolutely adore summer, but the heat does suck sometimes.
The best line in the poem was:
Keep Writing!
Love it! As I said on fb chat, it definitely makes me think of that sweltering Summer heat we all know too well; that hot, sticky, humid, unendurable heat that makes one writhe with discomfort! Yes, I enjoyed this poem
Oh I so agree and love this! It's so great! The first line and it's nonsense words hooked me in quite like Lewis Carrol- and I mean this every way as a compliment.
