Below the huskey moon you lie
You don't take a breath
And though it seems impossible
You thought us how to be brave
And how not to be dead

A short poem.
First just a minor typo, I'm pretty sure you meant to write taught instead of thought.
The impression I get from this poem is that someone has recently died, and someone else is remembering them, and the help that person gave them in living. I especially like the last line.
