Can't say goodbye

I know I have to say goodbye,
But I can't let you go
Could you even tell me if you're happy
Or even that you're ok
And it kills me to know know that even if I text and ask
You wont reply.

I have to look away now so I wont cry,
again.
But it gets harder every time
Every time you make me think of you
But you wont stop.
You can't stop.

Even though I know you're not hurting anymore,
I still want you here to hold my hand.
So I can stop hurting too.

And now I can't say goodbye,
It doesn' tmatter,
You can't even say hello
