*Alright, so, this is a Stu x Billy fanfic. This is under my folder titled “Scream fanfics”. Gacha Club character designs are under my forum titled “My character designs<33[2]”. I’d recommend watching “Scream”  (the one from 1996) before reading this, because this is literally just the ending scene of the movie, except I wrote it in Stu’s perspective. I googled the script of the movie and wrote down the dialogue, which might actually have been changed a bit in the movie, now that I think about it. I also *slightly* changed something Billy says about Sidney’s mother because I didn’t think it was too appropriate to write. I wanted to put a Stuilly spin on this but also keep them in character. I’m not sure how well I did. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!*

Stu leaned close to Billy, his head mere centimeters away from Billy’s neck. Billy was breathing hard, his eyes mad with the desire to murder and god, was it hot. The tension, the blood, the fear. Their perfect horror movie, all laid out before them both. All they needed to do was end it and then, who knew? They could both live in a world of guts and love, together and forever!

Sidney glared at them both, but Stu could see the fear in her eyes. He knew that they had her cornered and soon enough, they’d have her slaughtered. But it had to be perfect. Perfect.

“You’re crazy-both of you!” Sidney cried out.

Crazy? No. That was hardly the word to describe them both. It was simple, devoid of any of the real shockers that came from horror movies and so, Stu had to correct her.

“The official term is “psychotic”.” Stu said with a smile. He still couldn’t believe how beautiful it all was. An excitement not too different from when he and Billy were watching horror movies settled through him, an excitement that was stronger than when they were taking note of every kill, every crime, an excitement that got Stu wanting to kiss Billy’s neck, but no, not yet. They couldn’t celebrate yet. The best part was yet to come.

“You’ll never get away with this.” Sidney breathed.

To which, Stu wanted to laugh, because they had already gotten away with it, there was no way they could be stopped! Billy, ever so meticulous, ever so careful, had thought of everything and Stu? There was nothing more appealing to him than stabbing the idiots of Woodsboro with Billy, leaving a trail of blood that no one could figure out, everyone trying to figure out the secret of “the killer”, invisible with the night, only the two of them in on it, no one else, not Tatum, not Randy, not Sidney-No one knew but them.

He didn’t laugh, no-again, not yet.

“Tell that to Cotton Weary. You wouldn’t believe how easy it was to frame him.” Billy said, his eyes sparkling with delight.

“Yeah, we just watched a few movies. Took a few notes. It was fun.” Stu said.

He smiled and so did Billy. Stu thought of the nights they spent together, planning it all out, alone in the dark of the living room with only the flash of the TV to keep them company. There was something romantic about the idea of making nightmares come to life, about bringing twisted fantasies to reality and Stu just couldn’t wait for the day-the pivotal day-when they would finally be rid of Sidney-and she wouldn’t be in the way of their masterpieces. Most of all, she wouldn’t be in the way of them, of what they had for each other, of a connection that she could only dream of!

“Why did you kill my mother?” Sidney asked, her eyes sparkling with tears.

As much as Stu didn’t want to, he moved away from Billy, a grin still on his lips, because she had asked the wrong question, and he had to be ready for the big gore show!

“Why? WHY? Did you hear that, Stu? I think she wants a motive. Hmmm…I don’t really believe in motives, Sid. I mean, did Norman Bates have a motive?” Billy asked.

“Nope.” Stu said as he shook his head. Why, a motive would ruin the whole horror movie! It would take people away from the true fright, but of course, Sidney wouldn’t know that.

“And did they ever really explain why Hannibal Lecter liked to eat people? Don’t think so. You see, it’s scarier when there’s no motive, Sid.” Billy said, moving closer to Sidney with the knife.

They had her cornered-they had her right where they wanted, right on the brink of death. Her eyes flashed with terror as she said in a voice cracked with sobs:

“I don’t understand…”

“We did your Mom a favor, Sid. The woman was a bitch who flashed her shit all over town like she was Sharon Stone or something.” Billy beamed, that glorious, charming madness shining in his eyes.

“So we put her out of her misery. I mean, let’s face it, your Mom was no Sharon Stone.” Stu cackled, for why, why, the whole situation, it was just…it was just laughable!

“Is that motive enough for you? Or how about this-Did you know your mother was sleeping with my Dad and she’s the reason my Mom moved out and deserted me.”

Stu stopped laughing. What-what did he just say? Did he just…no…Oh, god. Billy.

“What?” Sidney asked, just as much in shock as Stu was.

“Think about it. On the off chance I get caught-a motive like that could divide a jury for years, don’t you think? You took my mother, so I took yours. Big sympathy factor. Maternal abandonment causes serious deviant behavior. It certainly fucked you up. It made you have sex with a psychopath.”

“That’s right and now that you’re no longer a virgin, you gotta die-those are the rules.” Stu said, watching as Billy brought Sidney close, as he put the gun on the counter and held out the knife.

“Pretend this is all just a scary movie, Sid. How do you think it’s going to end?” Billy asked, any trace of sorrow in his eyes gone.

Sidney didn’t say anything, but that was alright. Stu already knew how it would end. He already knew what would happen and boy, he couldn’t wait!

“This is the best part, Sid. Billy’s got it all figured out. Why do you think we kept your father alive so long? Why did we save you for last?”

They were so close-so close! Stu was being as patient as he could be, but he didn’t know how much longer he could take it! He knew that he had to wait, though. Billy always knew what to do.

“You know what time it is, Sid? It’s after midnight. It’s your mother’s anniversary. We killed her one year ago today.”

Billy looked at Stu, a ghost of a smirk glittering in his eyes and heat rushed inside of him as what was about to happen settled in him.

“Ready?” Billy asked.

Of course. Of course. He had been waiting all day for it to happen and finally, in the dark calm of night, it would!

“Yeah…” Stu trailed off.

Billy walked away from Sidney with that pointing, shining, silvery knife, that elegant knife, towards Stu and then, he brought the knife up, his slender fingers wrapped around its handle like the spindly fingers of a ghost and then…

He brought the blade of the knife deep, deep into Stu’s stomach, blood gushing out as Stu winced in pain-but he didn’t mind. It was all for the movie and it was Billy who was doing the stabbing. He’d let Billy carve more cuts into his skin if there was more time, but again, that was for later.

“Good one. My turn.” Stu says, taking the knife from Billy. They had rehearsed it all before, but he couldn’t believe that finally, it was happening, finally, they were doing it! Letting the blood spill, killing together, bleeding together, bringing Hell together!

“Don’t forget-stay to the side and don’t go too deep.” Billy said.

Yes, he’d listen. He’d listen to Billy. He just had to stay to the side and stab him real good, so their wounds would match.

Stu stabbed the knife on the side, going deep enough for it to seriously hurt, but not enough to kill him. Never to kill him.

“Jesus…fuck, that hurt.” Billy groaned, holding the wound as he doubled over.

Well, that was the point! Stu could make it hurt more, he wanted to make it hurt more, but that’d be too much for what they were doing at the moment. The best was for later.

“Stop it!” Sidney cried out-Sidney, right. Stu nearly forgot about her.

“Got the ending figured out yet? Time’s running out.” Billy said.

“Come on, Sid! Think about it. Your father is the chief suspect. We cloned his cellular. The evidence is there!” Stu shrieked, the joy, the heat of the bloodshed, blazing within him. It was too lovely! Too good!

To make it even better, Billy grabbed the knife from Stu’s hand and sliced two cuts on Stu’s arm, their blood mixing together, in Stu’s eyes, anyhow.

“What if your father snapped? Your Mom’s anniversary set him off and he went on a murder spree, killing everyone…”

“Except for me and Billy…we were left for dead…”

It hurt, it hurt, it all hurt, but with it came relief, and that relief was a real-life horror movie with Billy Loomis. No more Sidney Prescott. No more of Woodsboro. Only their string of crimes that nobody would ever learn, a secret they’d share till the end of their days! Their special little secret.

“And then he killed you and shoots himself in the head. It’s a perfect ending!” Billy cackled.

“Everyone dies but us. We get to carry on and the plan the sequel. Let’s face it, these days-you gotta have a sequel.” Stu beamed.

He took the knife from Billy and stabbed him, watching as the blood spilled, because again, they had to have matching scars to decorate their bodies, to remind them of what they had, to bind them forevermore.

“You sick fucks-you’ve seen one too many movies.” Sidney seethed.

Sick? Yes, they were sick, but how dare she not credit them on their own shared madness that only they could have!

“Oh Sid, don’t blame the movies…movies don’t create psychos. Movies just make psychos more creative.” Billy said as he stood over her, tall and relishing in her fear, covered in cuts, but still standing.

The same could not be said for Stu as he staggered, the cuts from Billy starting to get to him. He mentally cursed himself for being so weak. Why, he had to take more of Billy’s stabs, he had to take more of it, or else it would ruin the fun!

“That’s it, Billy. I can’t take any more. I’m feeling woozy.”

“Get the gun. I’ll untie Pops.”

Stu left to do as Billy said, eager for the last remaining rats that were the Prescotts to shrivel away and for he and Billy to make their escape.

Woodsboro would talk, their stories would grace the screens, people would both be fascinated and frightened by their crimes, but most of all…

Nobody would know it was them who did it. Nobody.

And they could carry that secret to their graves as they made their body count rise, nobody else around to bother them, just the screams ringing all around in a melodic symphony of magnificent morbidity.

The two of them, the unstoppable, undefeated, serial killers, no one to dictate their lives but one another, and that was how it was meant to be, how it would always be, till the end of time.

Hey! I read your poem about scream, so why not read the fanfic? I’ve seen the original movie a good amount of times and I will say it’s one of my favorite classic horror films!

⟡ Recommendations ⟡

For a general recommendation, I think it would be better if you also described the scene. I think it is quite obvious that you are ripping from the scream script here, so something that would’ve embellished this work a little more would be to describe the scene. Describe the blood, the kitchen (?) they are in (I think that’s where they were in the movie). I think adding to the descriptors of the scene would improve this work a lot.

Haha, I know the exact frame you are talking about. The classic Stu X Billy frame. I do feel like the “world of guts and love, together and forever!” part is a little much to start out. Yeah It’s supposed to be a fanfic, but I feel like maybe there should be a little more buildup to the shipping drama here.

I do think this next line is very in character, though!

Even though it is a reiteration, I do love the lines from this movie. It walks this really weird thin line between parody and horror. Are these guys just crazy? Or are they tortured? Is is a society obsessed with horror movies that was enough to push these dudes into absolute insanity. I like to imagine they had some hate in their hearts, and were inspired by the horror around them to the point that they created the ghostface character. I’m sure there’s plenty of analysis out there, though.

The ending here is pretty gnarly. I like how when the real violence ends up going on, you aren’t too heavy-handed with the romantic aspects. It’s just enough that we know Stu is crazy, and that he has a deep-seeded love for Billy. Their love is perverted to the point that labels wouldn’t really fit them. In the end, they are partners till the end of time. Sharing a legacy of bloodshed. I think for people as messed up as them, that’s enough.

Idk where to watch Scream so you will have to bear with me once again lacking the exact context. It should be fine tho. I got experience now =D

I do like the beginning of the story, the first paragraph sets the tone real well!

I feel like this sentence is a bit too much in the internal monologue: “there was no way they could be stopped!” At least for me. It kinda shows that Stu has lost it obviously, but at the same time… hm not a fan of how it disrupts the rhythm.

Oh I was reading w/o commenting bc I was trying to figure out where they are going with this. I don’t like where they are going with this… Hoo boy.

Yep, yep, yep, I am so… so confused what to feel but ho boy, Stu doesn’t believe this is a betrayal so this line is kinda in my feelings limbo “ He’d let Billy carve more cuts into his skin if there was more time,” bc… a stomach wound is hard to recover from and yet this is all planned out. These characters are so twisted @.@ And this, ahhh “Letting the blood spill, killing together, bleeding together, bringing Hell together!” I like how you describe his mental state but hooo this is hard to stomach!

There’s a “the” too many here: “and the plan the sequel.”
