*This fanfic poem is underneath my folder titled “IT fanfic stuff”. Gacha Club character designs are under this forum: https://www.youngwriterssociety.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=116005&start=1155. This is a Reddie ship poem, just like the title suggests. Reddie is the ship between Richie x Eddie from the IT movies and the IT novel. This is in Richie’s POV and it is specifically about the 2017 + 2019 movies, because those are the versions I have seen. I will eventually watch the 1990s miniseries and read the novel, but I will always ship Reddie. <3 Anyway, enjoy and Happy Valoween!
when the summer is over
and all the arcade games have been played
will you still remember me?
will you remember how i teased?
i’ve always loved you
but you won’t ever know
how i will miss you so
as the years go on
telling the same jokes
i’ll be all alone
you don’t need to worry
i’ve carved something to remember you by
i won’t forget you
no, never you
i still think of our ice cream days
and bike riding afternoons
sometimes
in the quiet of night
i think of
what it would be like to tell you
that i love you so much
it hurts
it’s unbearable
but you will never understand
that’s okay
we’ll fight the fears together
i’ll use my trashmouth
to drown out the noise of your thoughts
you are braver than you believe
i know that better than anyone
because i’ll stay a loser for you
my eddie spaghetti <3

Hi there! I'm reviewing using the YWS S'more Method today!

HI HI HELLO! I'm back and awake and finally reviewing this beautiful beautiful poem ahhhggg I love it so much
Top Graham Cracker - What I Know
This is a poem from Richie to Eddie, desperately wondering if the boy he loved so dearly will ever realize, or even remember him since their memories have faded.
Slightly Burnt Marshmallow - Room for Improvements
I don't have anything to say regarding improvement, I think this is absolutely beautiful!!!
Chocolate Bar - Highlights of the Piece
The signoff!!! my Eddie spaghetti! AUGHHHHHHH!!!!
Oh and the "I've carved something to remember you by" referencing the R + E on the bridge GAHHH I love this!!!
"I'll stay a loser for you" AUGHHHHHH! like that's all I have to say! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!
Closing Graham Cracker - Closing Thoughts
This is so wonderful and beautiful and I love it very much! You did amazing
tyyyyy I%u2019m glad you liked it :>
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
This poem is truly so cute for Valentines Day. Reddie will always be my favorite ship in the movies no matter what. They are just so cute together! Anyway, let me stop my blabbering creeper, and let's jump straight to the review!
''when the summer is over

will you remember how i teased?''
Richie was ultimately my favorite character because I realized how much we have in common. We both like to talk a lot. Also including the detail that Richie used to tease his Eddie about his mom, namely the one about Eddie's mom vajayjay.
I haven't watched the second movie of IT, but I am watching the welcome to Derry series. Let me just say, that first episode just made me throw up my lunch.
''we’ll fight the fears together

to drown out the noise of your thoughts

i know that better than anyone
because i’ll stay a loser for you
my eddie spaghetti <3''
THE LAST LINE IS MY FAVORITE! I think it's definitely something Eddie would say.
Here's one of my suggestions: Could you perhaps write a poem about Ben, Beverly and Bill? That love triangle in a poem would just be MWAH!

I%u2019ll consider it.
Thx for reading! ^v^
Hey creeper! I haven't seen the movies yet but I did somewhat recently read It. My first reaction to this ship was "awww this adorable" but then I remembered how It ends and this has a totally different tone to it now :,) Like:
Ouch!! ;-; </3
The main area I think you could work on with this is leaning into Richie's unhinged spontaneity more. I don't know about the movies, but in the book he's a chaotic goofy guy who uses humor to cover up his feelings, even as an adult. Because of that, I feel like the tone of this poem is almost too genuine, too literal, and in reality Richie would skirt around the pain of missing Eddie a lot more. But who knows - in your reality, maybe Eddie helped Richie be a lot more in tune with his feelings, and now he's a lot more comfortable with cutting right to the chase with this poem.
And to be clear, his voice is definitely still there (the last two lines especially) but I'd love to see more of it.
This is great! Well done, and Happy Valoween!
