Make A Difference - Prologue

This is my first time attempting to write a prologue, well, novel altogether.

So, I know it needs some MAJOR improvements, but that's why you guys are here. (:

Hope you enjoy!

----------------

In high school, it’s all about what you wear, what sports you play, how you act, but most importantly, who you hang out with. Whether we want to accept it or not, we all know there’s clique.

If you are new to a school, the first person or group of people who acknowledges you will be the group you hang out with.

Sure, you can move between cliques, but moving from the very bottom to the very top? Impossible.

Out of all the groups, cliques, whatever you want to call it, there is always that one loner, the one that doesn’t belong in any of them. They do not play a sport, but they do not do any other clubs. So, the question is, where do they belong?

Maybe the impossible is possible.

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Night(whichever one it is in your part of the world),

Hi! I'm here to leave a quick review!!

Anyway let's get right to it,

In high school, it’s all about what you wear, what sports you play, how you act, but most importantly, who you hang out with. Whether we want to accept it or not, we all know there’s clique.

If you are new to a school, the first person or group of people who acknowledges you will be the group you hang out with.

Alright...interesting prologue...although I have to say, this one really doesn't do much to remind me of an actual prologue, the vibes that this particular story has is much more along the lines of a sort of bit of narration done by the protagonist here to introduce us to their world...and doesn't quite read like a prologue. I think perhaps you need to think on that. A prologue is meant to be more of a proper scene that this sort of introductiony, sort of rhetorical questionnaire almost that we've got going on here.

That being said, this is a pretty interesting set of questions here. You do wonder where all those might come from...and well we do in fact have a bit of context for where they come from too..so it works as something to just lightly pull a reader in there...and the premise does seem like it could be quite intriguing, I think judging from just the bit that we have here, this is potentially something that I just might read, my interest at any rate has been piqued quite a bit.

Aaaaand that's it for this one.

As always remember to take what you think was helpful and forget the rest.

Hey,
That's a great way to start, and it's so true. It sounds so real and blunt, and that's what makes it interesting. I loved it, but there is one line I thought was a bit out of place, and a bit cliche.

Maybe the impossible is possible
Endings can be tough, and I see where you got the impossible thing from, but it just seems out of place to me. Anyway, I can't wait to read more. Keep it up! :D

Hello there
I am no expert, but I will just tell you what I think alright?
Anyways, this has potential but maybe lacks some suspense, just a tad bit.
I thought the idea was just ordinary but it's the writing that counts which I thought showed a lot of potential. I will advice you on one thing though,

They don’t play a sport, but they don’t do any other clubs.

For the words in bold, instead of "don't", it should be "do not". This is just a formal way of writing and I can see that you did that a lot.
Keep writing, hope I made some sense and helped. I did like your 'first' attempt. :smt001
