Love

Love is like honey.
Thick, sweet and sometimes sticky.
It can hit you at anytime of you life,
Yet you may never realize it.
It comes in many forms:
friendship, family and of course sexually.
But searching for love never works.
If you just let it be,
It will eventually fall and hit you on the shoulders.

Having current difficulties with this particular subject, your title forced me to open this piece immediately.

Following it was easy, appears to portray hope. We all love to hope.

However, it left me stale. "Shoulders" should be reserved for strength or the like.

Of course "heart" would be way to obvious. So, perhaps "fall" is the wrong to lead in with. Maybe "rise and fill your shoulders"?

But that just sounds silly. Even though lack of love in your life does create weakness in many.

A snowball in the face is surely the perfect beginning to a lasting friendship.
