Heaven

by cathy

I'm just waiting
Sitting contemplating
My thoughts resting in my head.
An adventure has opened its doors to me,
Waiting for me to come in.
Yet all I can think about is
Standing in a room,
With lights and music.
My perfect world.
The doors are beckoning me,
Like waiting for a hug.
The rain's now falling,
And the doors are closing.
I'm running, screaming.
But I'm too late.
Heaven has been closed.

I think this may flow better if you put it like this:

Im just waiting,
Sitting,
Contemplating,
My thoughts resting in my head.

It flows better to me this way

The capacity of human beings to bore one another seems to be vastly greater than that of any other animal.
