At the dawn of my life,
Kicking my limbs to the invisible monster,
I saw the morning smile of the sky’s roaster
That was thirteen years before
Still he smiles at me more and more.
Life doesn’t always bear fruit
It has bitterness at its root
Sitting under the mango tree
I feel my inner me
I feel the caring touch of my mother
As my arms feel the slither of the feather
The smell of jasmine flowers
Makes my heart flow with happiness
Every morning, watching the sunrise
Brings new rhymes even from the squeaking mice
Seeing the horse’s care for its mare
Wanting to see the seven coloured bow without an arrow
Enjoying the cries of the crow
The songs of the nightingale
And the earth’s beautiful tale
Doesn’t fail to ignite in me
That my brain is the key
To see the good out of bad
To see the smile out of sad
Person without the time to admire our mother
Is like a cattle without fodder
Who die out slowly
A soul where death is to glee
To live life to the full
Abide the rule:
Keep admiring nature

Hey there I'm April and I'll be reviewing this (great) poem today. I apologize up front if this is an awful review, I'm still a noobie learning the ropes of YWS(: On to the review now.
All I can say is "Wow." That was great! Overall, this poem had everything a poem should have. I know I'm being totally positive and it isn't too helpful but hey, this is a very well-polished piece.
Thanks for posting this W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L poem so that many many more may enjoy it. Keep that ink flowing.
~~April~~
Thanx for the review
This is such a beautiful poem. I don't think it needs any major corrections. I just think you should work on keeping the reader interested in the poem and wanting to read more. As I was reading, it was like I had to force myself to focus and be able to summarize it. But, then again, that's just me. I can see this poem getting somewhere and having a fair amount of interest in other people. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful work.
