Are those memories as close to you
As they are to me?
Do you ever wonder
What can or cannot be?
Is all of this dark in life
Surrounding you too?
Do you ever feel
As lost as I do?
You've always seemed so patient,
Impossible to shake.
I've always felt so very small,
So easy to break.
I can never stand as tall
As when I'm by your side,
I need you don't you see
To protect and to guide.
Everything we've been through,
Can only make us strong.
This bond we share, never alone,
Where we truly belong.

Okay, first off, putting a comma at the end of every line is not good punctuation in poetry. Re-puncuate this, putting question marks or periods where you would put it in normal writing, and leaving it comma-less unless the sentence actually needs one.

Second off, I would caution against lumping so many unanswered questions together like you do in the first lines. A member once pointed this out to me in a very early piece I wrote. All those questions just leave the reader with more questions and no sense of what your meaning was.

Lastly, your rhyme scheme actually flows pretty well, but there's nothing terribly original in this. It's a nice sentiment for a Hallmark card, but beyond that, it's pointless. Next time, attempt to express your thoughts in an original way that will actually interest your reader. Keep writing!

The one major thing the was obstructing my enjoyment was the punctuation. wowie, like commas, eh?

Are those memories as close to you, [nothing]
As they are to me, [?]
Do you ever wonder,[nothing]
What can or cannot be,[?]
Is all of this dark in life, [Perhaps it should say "Is all of this life dark"? It sounds odd the way you have it. Or maybe it's "Is all of this dark life...surrounding you too?" if you, no comma there]
Surrounding you too,[?]
Do you ever feel,[nothing]
As lost as I do,[?]
You've always seemed so patient,
Impossible to shake, [.]
I've always felt so very small,
So easy to break, [.]
I can never stand as tall,[nothing]
As when I'm by your side,[.]
I need you don't you see,[?]
To protect and to guide,[Period, although you should change the line anyways, it isn't a full sentence, but at the same time doesn't fit with the previous, or following line]
Everything we've been through, [nothing]
Can only make us strong, [.]
This bond we share will always be,
To help our lives along. [I think you should change these last two lines to: This bond we share will always/help us along. The way you have it seems...strange

I put some comments and punctuation changes above. Other wise, it's OK. Also, this article may help you with the punctuation: Poetry and Punctuation

Hope I helped!
