Some thoughts: If it weren't for the fact that you categorized this as a chapter of a science fiction novel, I'd probably feel comfortable assuming with 100% certainty that this is your way of greeting the kind folks here. After seeing that, my certainty dropped about 2 percentage points. As I take a peek to the right of my screen, I can see that you've been a member since exactly today, which brings me back up to about 99.999%. I think what this piece needs is more words.
