There was a young prince, George the Great,
Who swore like a bloody first mate.
His mother's last hope
was to call in the Pope -
He gave George an R18 rate.

*giggle*

About your poem *giggle* Limerick 1, well it's so darn funny!

It's so hard to comment on short works like this one, the reason for this is that there are less grammatical mistakes. I can classify these type of poems as OHKO or One-hit Knockout. In just five verses, you made a short story, a clever parody, a cut prose and a witty joke. The poem made such an impact in few words :)

Tip: Since your poem's a bit short, try to add images, graphics, text designs or any other additives to your post so that readers can stay in a little while longer ;)

Truly not yours,
Al :)

Loved it! It was funny, light hearted and just, nice.
It's cute, well done!

This is sweet and funny, I liked it. Only thing is I'd put "There was a young prince, George the Great" and add a coma after pince. I know thats really nit picky but it would ust break up the line nicely. :)

I really like this! Wish I was any good at poetry, but frankly I stink at it. This is great though! Keep at 'em!
