I know how you feel
I actually wrote a poem called sorry to...but mine is made by me so it's different...but I wrote my a while back and I'm still sorry even though I didn't understand what I was sorry for at the time and I still apologize everyday to anyone I meet I apologize for wasting their time and for intruding on their lives and things like that so I know what it's like to truly feel sorry but I guess that's just the type of person I am because I always put myself down...anyways I think your little poem was good it almost brought me to tears actually because it's how I feel a lot it's really good and I think you did awesome thanks for posting it so everyone could read it keep up the good work I look forward to reading more of your work you've got talent ^^
I'm just gonna give my impression of this poem. I'll let the others comment about structure and grammar (although I guess there aren't a lot of mistakes).
Okay... so I think this poem is really sad with a dash of anger in disguise. In my opinion, it's a little too emotional and angry. I understand that you're goal is to make the readers feel that emotion. I felt it, but I think it is too continuous for me. I don't mean to be rude but I found the same emotion in every stanza and it's like you're just saying the whole thing straight and you purposely break it into stanzas.
If this happened to you, I'm sorry that you have to go through this. This poem was directed to you parents, maybe... well, that's a brave thing to do. But still, why should you feel sorry for who you are? I mean, parents must love their children no matter who they are, right? It has a good story, but a little depressing, I think.
That's all. I'm sorry if you think this is harsh.
Hello!

About the emotion talked about in earlier reviews I would like to say that your 1st para is really good.. both on the emotion and tempo part. The rest of it becomes depressing. A structure (a more concise structure) would lessen the emotional load and give a greater flow.
But the story, I like. You have told a long story short with emotions intact. I think that's great!
Waiting for more from you!
Hello, arianaSarroyo. My name is Matt and I will be reviewing your poetry/lyric addition to the page. First off, the darkness definitely is present in this piece. In some cases, that is a good thing. But, where as this one, it is mildly prolonging and grows a little dismantled toward the rough edges. On the bright-side, though, it is a very strongly assembled and definitely captures the pure emotion that it aims out to be. Definitely enjoyable but drags on the emotion.
I know it's probably easiest to write angsty poetry, but this one is really heavy and actually made me little depressed to read, which I don't think should be your primary goal. Poetry should be about making the reader enjoy your piece, not become heart-heavy from it. With that being said, I do really like this. You do tell a good story here, and the only other comment I could make is to give this poem a little more structure to make it easier to read. A rhyme scheme, syllable scheme, or even just taking out the spaces and putting in stanzas that were easier to see could all be helpful changes.
Other than those small things, I like it and hope to see more from you!
It is simple and straightforward, but I think that a sentimental poem such as this shouldn't be done differently, and I believe many fans of poetry would agree - sometimes we need such simplicity in order to relate to our readers. You've done a good job at capturing the feelings of this poem and have made it very relatable, and because of that I believe you may very well capture the hearts of a certain audience. May it be only novice poets - you're doing a good job, keep it up.
