Footsteps echo in a cave, five men and two women are shaking as their hands search the walls of a cave, looking for something to help them. They was wearing robes of red, blue, green, yellow, white and black, the group finally stopped struggling, they started to blame each other and then the world went dark. A laugh was heard, a man watched the deaths happen and smiled. "No one gets past my wall trap, they just get squished." he sits down, his purple robes come into view. No one knew his name, or what he used, but they knew he was a enemy, and would live for a long time
After such a event six mage tribes came to rise, each using a diffrent strengh to fight and kill the others. They was the mages of light, wearing white. Dark, wearing black. Fire wearing red. Water wearing blue. Yellow being air, they wanted white but the light or holy mages wore the wanted colour and finally earth wore green. The war had continued for many decades and so far no treaty had been suggested. but soon, it will be needed. Six babies, three girls and three boys was born on the same day, same hour, five minutes apart. Little did people know of a future they had, little did they know that these six controlled theirs,
A long and difficult month later names was chosen. But the story started upon when the six become sixteen, when they find a message. tempting them towards a future they felt they was not ready for. but they was ready, just not yet. Lets start the story and introduce these heros and heroines.
In the village of the lightmancers, believers of a sun god known as Sol, a boy woke, his face naturally almost pure white just like his hair. He got up and dressed, just a normal day he thought it would be, praying for a good half his awake time, and the rest praying for a good crop that year. He felt it was needed and they was friends with the hydromancers, along with the geomancers. Zair as he was called opened his door and sighted a note, "the gem cave? might be the place where Sol lives. He wants to meet me!" he yelled in excitement as he grabbed his light staff, shoes and ran towards where the gem cave was known.
Across the island where the mages fought and died held another village, hidden inside a forest only visited by the necromancers, donning the colour black. A girl watched her bone dog run across the room, soundlessly barking. The girl was called Naomi and she remembered using necromancery to bring back her dog which had died to a fight. She watched it run to the door and when it came back held a letter. "drop." was all she had to say to make the dog drop it. The dog ran across the room as she read the message, "the gem cave? i suspect lightmancers are causing problems." she got up and walked tothe door, "i will be back in a few hours." she left the house and walked to the cave, holding her bone wand.
A single word was chanted in a loop, the geomancers was watching a fight between an unlucky feathermancer and an armed geomancer, Jack watched the fight and heard the cut off scream of the feathermancer as she was crushed, leaving behind three daughters at her village. Little did the geomancers care or know, Jack watched and laughed as the body was tossed away. "feathered mage dumb!" he laughs and walks away, catching a note by accident claimed to have seen feathermancers at the gem cave. His brown eyes lightened up as he grabbed his sledgehammer, he quickly brushed his brown hair before running.
A girl screamed for her mother, a red haired girl with large yellow wings searched the skies for her mother who had just died, she landed and shakily ordered her dragons to help, as they flew away the girl cried, tossed her wand into the floor and cried more. She finally stopped crying and stood up. "mother, i will find you." she looked up just to get a sheet of paper landing on her face, A few seconds passed before a muffled scream came out of the thick paper, she finally got the paper off her face and saw what it had to say. "gem cave? mother must be there!" she desummoned her dragons and flew to the cave, holding her wand.
Lava bubbled. A girl smiled and watched closely, imaging the hot liquid as the hydromancers blood, she knew it did not do the same but could not help but feel relaxed, Hatrid as she was called was known and liked among her own for a simple reason, she kills enemies quickly and made the enemies scared. She limited her killing to hydromancers for a good reason, war. She accidently picked up a sheet of paper, "the gem cave?" might as well explore it." she got up and without a word brushed her long red hair, found her staff and set out.
A boy with long blue hair emerged from the water of the ocean, his girly eyes and face showing he was nervous as he got to land, his trident hidden behind his back. He took a deep breath, "safe, i should return it." he took out a small shard of a glowing gemstone, it was his sisters and he has always been interested in it. He turned to get a full on kiss to the lips, "M-Maya." he tried to shout but it was quiet. He was unable to shout and was crushed on by most the girls in the village, he had picked up a stone that simply said "gem cave, treasure." on it, he asked Maya to return the gem as he set off, his robes weighing him down slightly.
a purple light emited from inside the cave and a laugh was heard by none "step one: attract them."

I love this start to your story! Only a few questions.
What are geomancers and feathermancers? This isn't specified in your stories. When you introduce each representative of the elemental tribes, I get confused on where everything is. Can you please clarify that so I know the time and setting? The sentence 'He was unable to shout and was crushed on by most the girls in the village, he had picked up a stone that simply said "gem cave, treasure."' doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
I really love this story and I want to know more!!

Very nice opening chapter. Straight into a piece of action and immediately leaving readers with a few questions to draw them into the story. The concept itself also looks very unique and something I'd like to hopefully see more of to see where this develops too. I would like to see a little more description of the characters, and hopefully the world around them, in future chapters. Other than that, keep going and good job!
