Now I wish I never knew you……

My life the past few months....

Lonely
Twisted thoughts
And recollections
What the hell is wrong with my mind?

Insanity
Flash backs of absurdity
I dream of him
And think of you

Nightmares behind closed lids
Memories that can’t be rid
Truth behind these painful eyes
I want to see you die

Toying with my mind
Passionate last day
I guess you knew I wouldn’t stay
So you used me anyway

Still can feel the way you touched me
Every time I recollect it makes me feel used
Beaten, burdened by your resistance.
You never cared

Told me no tears should fall
That this was not the end
Life was just beginning
We would find someone again

But do u know what you did to me?
I was this close to ending it all
Luckily he broke my fall
Picked up the pieces of my shattered soul

Slowly I began to heal
Locking the pain with a seal
But even now you haunt my dreams
Never forgetting those memories

But till I hold my new found love
Everything will stay
I never knew the cost
When I fell in love with you

Now I wish I never knew you……..

I can defiantly relate to this and threw out the whole poem I could feel the pain.
I especially like the way it’s laid out with the large space’s they definitely add to the way it’s written and the way it feels.

fThis is a beautiful poem
I loved it.
The pain is evident and eloquently put.
However, it was kind of funny how at the end you say...
"Now I wish I never knew you...."
And your signature says....
'Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at allm ---Alfred Lord Tennyson
Lol
I dunno, maybe its just me.
But I reslly enjoyed this poem.

I'm off to read more of your work!
:)

For in everything it is no easy task to find the middle ... anyone can get angry—that is easy—or give or spend money; but to do this to the right person, to the right extent, at the right time, with the right motive, and in the right way, that is not for everyone, nor is it easy; wherefore goodness is both rare and laudable and noble.
