why is it that we continue to get our hopes up even though we are constantly let down over and over and over again? you would think we would learn from our mistakes at some point. the fact that life will never be this rosy picture we've painted, and that guy or girl will never live up to your expectations. maybe our lives would all be a little easier to bear if we accepted the fact that people are shitty and do shitty things, although our lives wouldn't necessarily be happier. maybe we create scenarios and stories in our minds because its the only thing that helps us wake up in the morning; the simple fact of knowing that something amazing could happen. but then we go through the day and find that the stories in our heads are just that; fiction. beautiful and disappointing fiction.

Kay, first of all, I really don't see how this title relates to this piece...? Did you just write the date?

Second: Give this a genre! You say other, general, and general. Sooo, yeah. What is this? If you don't give it a topic thing (the "other" section), at least give it 1 genre. We want an idea of what this piece is going to be about.

Also, maybe give this a rating? Maybe 16+ for language ?

Now, for edits.

Capitalize the first letter that is starting a sentence. Please.

I only make such exceptions unless this is actually the person's style of writing, and not many people have this style.
Personally, I hate reading things like this. You don't know how much it bugs me!
So, if it's not your style, change it now.

maybe we create scenarios and stories in our minds because its the only thing that helps us wake up in the

Its should be it's (contraction for it is).

the stories in our heads are just that; fiction.

Semicolon should be a colon.

maybe our lives would all be a little easier to bear if we accepted the fact that people are shitty and do shitty things,

For me, I already knew that. I don't know about everyone else, but I already accepted that fact.

Okay, besides that stuff, I get your point. We don't learn from our mistakes, etc etc. I really think you should make your point a little more clear, though. Or maybe just organize your paragraphs. -.- I dunno.

Hope this helps...

First off, your capitalization is non-existent and it bugs me. Secondly, I agree with what you’re trying to say and struggle with the same dilemma on a daily basis. I feel that although people are generally shitty, you have to look out for that one person who will be a little less shitty. The stories I make up are the one’s that I right down and hope to share with people. There’s a light at the end of the tunnel and the people are non-shitty there.

Despite everything, it's still you.
