If in the Writing Olympics, gold wasn't for you,
and silver, and bronze evaded you too -
please remind yourself the value added to your crew,
the work that you tried, and the strides anew!
If you didn't meet your word count for LSS,
I encourage you to take a deep breath -
after all, we're writing for fun, with friends,
and isn't the whole story what matters in the end?
If your name didn't change to dark cyan,
if you missed a day of Team Tortoise in the month's span -
remember you can only do as much as you can
and the authors still appreciate their latest reviewing fan!
If your novel has slowed, and the writer's block is strong,
if your imagery is cramped, and you feel your poems don't belong -
we all go through valleys; rests are part of the song!
So while you're taking a break, let us cheer you along!
If for RevMo this year, you're busy with work, life, or school,
if you won't add a hundred reviews to the reviewing pool -
we still want you here, we still think you're cool!
You know what? You're welcome and valued just being you!

Let me know what you think, either in regards to the topic or the poetic content. Thanks for reading!
An excellent reminder and a wonderfully crafted poem <333
A key strength of the poem is its focus on the joys and purpose of writing itself. It encourages writers to embrace their creative endeavors for the sake of enjoyment and personal growth rather than just outcomes. This sentiment is beautifully captured in the lines, “after all, we’re writing for fun, with friends, and isn’t the whole story what matters in the end?”
The poem further provides comfort to those struggling with writer's block or other challenges. It acknowledges that setbacks are a normal part of the creative journey and reassures readers that their value is not diminished by their struggles. The inclusive tone and supportive language foster a sense of community and camaraderie.
Fated Meeting :
Hello Hello, it seems we have crossed paths and I dare to say that this was destiny. Without further ado, I am Moonlily and today I will be using my Everboundain method. Let’s deconstruct this tapestry of words, shall we?
Fate’s First Look:
Now can I just say that I love this poem? It's so very sweet and uplifting something that applies to the site as a whole. Y'all are the sweetest group I've had the chance to meet.
Furthermore, I feel that this message is needed this time of year. With the summer winding down and life resuming it is easy to feel overwhelmed in general. Even if these events are fun they can often add more to our plate making it easy for us to beat up on ourselves for not participating as much as we want. At least I know I can kind of feel that way sometimes. However, all that matters is the community and having fun first and foremost.
I feel you showed this perfectly with the bouncy rhyme scheme. It felt light and easy to read while supporting the themes. Plus I would be remiss not not bring up the many references you added. Everything from LLS to last month's Olympics was a great touch and made this come alive!
An Occult Standing Ovation:
where do I begin there's so many great lines.
I love this it cuts to the core of this site and sets the tone of this piece. We always love some good advice hidden in a fun poem on this corner of the internet.
This is so true! It makes my day every time I get a review or notice someone use my advice. Good feedback can make all the difference and you can always find some great feedback on here.
This is breathtaking, I love this imagery. I kind of wish I came up with it not going to lie. It's just amazing stuff!
Guidance Of The Tarot Deck:
Normally I would share the wisdom of my tarot deck in order to help focus the mind and strengthen your writing. However, it seems your cards are largely positive and I have nothing I can help you build on during this read-through.
You did a great job writing this and I don't have anything to say.
Wrapped Up With A Soulmate String:
Sadly, I think our meeting has come to an end. I hope we can cross paths once again until then I want to give my props to this Yws love letter. As always keep writing and remember to drink water!
Thanks for the nice review! Glad to hear your feedback - have a great day!
