The Angel

An angel in the flesh, behold,
Eyes painted black, wings painted gold.
A savior born to light the path,
Accept Her gifts, infer His wrath.
A healer brought to cure their sins,
Affirm Pestilence never wins.
Since in my eyes, she’s but a girl,
She feels Belial’s simper curl.

This was honestly very calming. With the really hectic day today, I sort of just relaxed and sighed while reading this. I loved the content in it and have NO QUALMS. Absolutely none. ^u^

But the capital letters were kind of unnecessary in some places.

An angel in the flesh, behold,
eyes painted black, wings painted gold.
A savior born to light the path,
accept Her gifts, infer His wrath.
A healer brought to cure their sins,
affirm Pestilence never wins.
Since in my eyes, she’s but a girl,
she feels Belial’s simper curl.

This feels even more informal now. And I love the feeling it oozes off!

Thank you for writing this. And please write more! :D

I love her dearly, but I can’t live with her for a day without feeling my whole life is wasting away.
