Girl

She’ll be in a corner, surrounded but lonely,
The giggling whispers not directed at her,
She is the quiet, the silent, the only
Whose Life’s precious memories she did defer.

She’ll speed through the hallways, eyes squinting and low,
Chasing the moments she feels are so fleeting.
Shattered allegiances leaving her so:
Mind viciously barred and heart softly bleeding.

She envies the others for retaining their grace,
For discovering love and taking their chances,
Strangers will notice her anger-streaked face,
A lasting result of her stifled advances.

Thus she’ll remain with constant regret,
The tragic consequence she’d never been told,
Seeing the beautiful lives that they’ve set,
With Siberian eyes, so heartless and cold.

Wow. This is really good. And it kind of reminded me of, well, me. I'm the quiet girl at school that sits in the back and gets made fun of and left out and I go around angry at my whole school. but yeah, anyway, great poem! :)
