Toxic and Sweet

LUNARGIRL here with a review, and here with a belated welcome to YWS. Nice job on the poem I really enjoyed it. The thing is with potery you don't really need to know what you are doing to write poetry, thats why is so fun. You can literally make poetry about anything, and even if it means one thing to you, it could mean something totally different to someone else, that the beauty of it.

"layers, and layers
of fake skin to cover
the hatred you hide
under your nail polish,
and sweet perfumes."

I really like this part because it like your putting on a mask to hide all the hatred and pent up emotions underneath all the layers of nail polish.

where no one can find them.

where only you
can see. "

The its like you hid all your anger and emotions so far down no one with ever be able to find them, except you.

Hewwo! NastyMajesty poppin' in here for a review! Nice to meetcha (belated welcome to Young Writer's Society). Is it bad that I could smell acetone while reading this lol? Anyway, I really liked this poem. Honestly, you don't necessarily have to know what you're doing while writing poetry (which is what I love about it) and the crazy thing about it is that the result sometimes can make no sense but a ton of sense at the same time - if that makes sense 😂.

superficial and yet beautiful,

truthful and yet you hide things
